Abstract: An inkjet head, includes: a pressure chamber communicating with an ink flow channel; a diaphragm linked to the pressure chamber; a piezoelectric element linked to the diaphragm; a nozzle communicating with the pressure chamber; and a vibrating mechanism placed in the ink flow channel and vibrates a supplied ink. Further provided is an inkjet device, including: the above inkjet head; a holding unit that holds a coating object; a moving mechanism that causes relative movement between the inkjet head and the holding unit; and a control unit that controls the inkjet head, the holding unit, and the moving mechanism.

Abstract: A printing unit includes a plurality of ink jet parts and an X-axis linear motion mechanism that moves each of the plurality of ink jet parts in the same main scanning direction. The X-axis linear motion mechanism moves the ink jet part involved in printing the workpiece among the plurality of ink jet parts so as to face the surface of the workpiece and moves the remaining ink jet part on the one X-axis linear motion mechanism so as to retreat from the surface of the workpiece. As a result, a printing apparatus that is capable of printing accurately onto the workpiece having a three-dimensional curved surface is provided.

Abstract: The ink jet device is provided with a plurality of ink jet heads including a plurality of nozzles disposed linearly with each other at intervals in a predetermined longitudinal direction and ejecting ink in different regions each other in the printing width direction; and a position adjusting mechanism performing rotating operation of changing the intervals in the printing width direction of the nozzles by rotating the plurality of ink jet heads around an axis perpendicular to the print surface of the print object, and performing a shifting operation of shifting at least one of the plurality of ink jet heads in the printing width direction.

Abstract: An ink jet head includes a piezoelectric element that is driven in a d33 mode, a pressure generation chamber in which a pressure is generated by the piezoelectric element, and an individual ink supply flow passage that through which the ink is supplied to the pressure generation chamber. The ink jet head includes an individual ink discharge flow passage that through which the ink is discharged from the pressure generation chamber, and a nozzle that ejects the ink from the pressure generation chamber. In a cross-sectional view in a direction orthogonal to an arrangement direction of the nozzle, inner diameters of the pressure generation chamber, the individual ink supply flow passage, and the individual ink discharge flow passage are shorter on a part close to the nozzle than a part close to the piezoelectric element side. Accordingly, an ink jet head capable of ejecting high-viscosity ink can be provided.

Abstract: A liquid-coating apparatus includes: (a) a nozzle hole from which a liquid material is to be discharged; (b) a supply flow channel configured to supply the liquid material to the nozzle hole; (c) a plunger configured to reciprocate in contact with the liquid material inside the supply flow channel; (d) a displacement-expansion mechanism configured to displace the plunger; and (e) an actuator configured to displace the displacement-expansion mechanism, wherein at least one of a contact part of the displacement-expansion mechanism and a contact part of the actuator has a curved surface.

Abstract: In a common chamber (102) for distributing, to respective pressure chambers (211), an ink supplied from the ink inlet (101), resistant walls (111) are provided in areas that are located ahead and behind of the flow of the ink, i.e., areas around inlets of flow channels (221) that lead to respective pressure chambers (211), and any resistance against the flow of the ink is generated according to the heights of the resistant walls (111), thereby capturing a solid ingredient (150) included in the ink. In this case, by adjusting the heights of the resistant walls (111) to control capabilities of introducing the solid ingredient (150), it becomes possible to dispense desired amounts of the solid ingredient (150) to the respective pressure chamber (211).
