摘要: A positive electrode active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the positive electrode active material comprising a Ni-containing lithium composite oxide a, b, wherein the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide a has an average primary particle size of 1 μm or more which is larger than the average primary particle size of the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide b, the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide a has an average secondary particle size of 2 to 6 μm, the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide b has an average primary particle size of 0.05 μm or more and an average secondary particle size of 10 to 20 μm, the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide a contains Mn and at least one of B and Al, the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide b contains Mn, and the ratio of the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide a to the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide b is 5:95 to 55:45.

摘要: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode includes lithium composite oxide particles A and B containing Ni and Mn. The lithium composite oxide particles A include secondary particles a2 that are aggregations of primary particles a1, and contain at least one of zirconium and boron. The lithium composite oxide particles B include at least one of primary particles b1 and secondary particles b2, the primary particles b1 having a larger particle size than the primary particles a1, the secondary particles b2 being aggregations of the primary particles b1 and having a smaller particle size than the secondary particles a2. The mass ratio of the lithium composite oxide particles A to the lithium composite oxide particles B is within the range of 8:2 to 4:6.

摘要: A power storage device includes a stacked electrode assembly in which a plurality of pairs of electrodes are stacked and a fixing tape which is placed astride both end portions of the stacked electrode assembly in an electrode-stacking direction and which includes a pair of bonded sections each bonded to a corresponding one of the end portions thereof and an intermediate section connecting the bonded sections together. The intermediate section of the fixing tape includes a base portion extending along a side surface of the stacked electrode assembly and a clearance portion projecting in a direction away from the side surface of the stacked electrode assembly and tape surfaces facing each other in the clearance portion are separably bonded to each other.

The Ni-containing lithium composite oxide A contains at least 55 mol % of Ni relative to the total number of mols of metal elements other than Li. The Ni-containing lithium composite oxide B contains Ti and Ni. The Ni content in the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide B is at least 55 mol % relative to the total number of mols of metal elements other than Ti and Li. The Ni-containing lithium composite oxide A and the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide B have a prescribed average first particle diameter and a prescribed average second particle diameter, respectively, and the ratio between the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide A and the Ni-containing lithium composite oxide B is, in mass ratio, 5:95-55:45.

摘要: A stack-type nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, includes an electrode unit housed in an exterior body. The electrode unit includes a plurality of electrode stacks and an intermediate positive electrode plate. Each of the electrode stacks includes a plurality of positive electrodes, a plurality of negative electrodes. One electrode stack of two of the electrode stacks has the negative electrode disposed adjacent to a first surface of the intermediate positive electrode plate with a corresponding one of the separators interposed therebetween. The other electrode stack has the negative electrode disposed adjacent to a second surface of the intermediate positive electrode plate with a corresponding one of the separators interposed therebetween. The intermediate positive electrode plate body has a smaller area on a side surface in a thickness direction than the positive electrode plate body of each of the electrode stacks.
