Abstract: An image transmission apparatus is connected to a plurality of cameras that image the interior of a moving body, and includes a receiver, a processor, and a transmitter. The receiver receives, from an external device of the moving body, an image transmission request and imaging subject information that identifies a passenger to be imaged. The processor selects, based on the imaging subject information, an image captured by at least one camera of the plurality of cameras, and executes processing to remove, from the selected image, other image regions aside from the image region that covers the passenger to be imaged. The transmitter transmits the image that has been processed to the external device.

The sound collecting device includes a processor that manages time for the plurality of sound collecting units and receives an instruction specifying a sound collecting location, and an output unit. The processor of the sound collecting device synthesizes the audio data of the plurality of sound collecting units on the basis of the time data of the plurality of sound collecting units, and outputs, from the output unit, the audio data of the sound collecting location.

Abstract: A monitor housing apparatus comprises an opening and closing mechanism, a drive motor, a power supply, a backup capacitor, a contact switch, and a controller. The opening and closing mechanism turns a monitor around a rotation shaft. The power supply supplies electrical power to the drive motor. The backup capacitor supplies power to the drive motor in the event that the supply of power from the power supply to the drive motor is shut off. The controller applies voltage to the backup capacitor when the contact switch detects that the monitor is in its deployed state, and halts the application of voltage from the power supply to the backup capacitor when the contact switch detects that the monitor is in its stowed state.
