Abstract: A film capacitor includes a first film, a second film, a first electrode part, and a second electrode part. The first electrode part includes a first aluminum-containing layer disposed on a first film surface. The second electrode part includes a second aluminum-containing layer disposed on a second film surface. The first film and the second film stacked on one another are wound or stacked. The first film surface is provided with a first non-electrode part that does not include the first aluminum-containing layer and extends in the longitudinal direction of the first film surface. The first electrode part has a first end adjacent to the first non-electrode part. The second film surface is provided with a second non-electrode part that does not include the second aluminum-containing layer and extends in the longitudinal direction of the second film surface. The second electrode part has a second end adjacent to the second non-electrode part. A film capacitor further includes a first zinc-containing layer disposed on the surface of a part including the first end and a second zinc-containing layer disposed on the surface of a part including the second end.

Abstract: A metalized film includes a dielectric film having a strip-shape, and a metal vapor-deposited electrode. An insulation margin is provided on a first end portion located at one end in a width direction of the dielectric film. A plurality of first slits each extending in a longitudinal direction of the dielectric film and a plurality of fuses are provided close to a second end portion located at an other end in the width direction. The metal vapor-deposited electrode includes a plurality of divided electrodes separated by a corresponding one of a plurality of second slits. Each of the plurality of second slits extends from the insulation margin to a corresponding one of the plurality of first slits. When the metalized film is cut along a cutting line extending in the width direction, at least two divided electrodes among the plurality of divided electrodes are respectively cut at the cutting line.

Abstract: A capacitor includes: a capacitor element; a case that houses the capacitor element; and a filler resin that fills an interior of the case. The case includes a case body and a lid. The case body includes a bottom wall, an inner wall having a tube shape, an outer wall having a tube shape and surrounding the inner wall; and a coupler that couples the inner wall to the outer wall. The inner wall rises from a peripheral edge of the bottom wall. The outer wall extends further outward than the bottom wall in a direction from the case body to the lid. The coupler forms a first gap between the inner wall and the outer wall. The bottom wall, the inner wall, the outer wall, and the coupler are integrally formed. The lid closes an opening of the outer wall to form a second gap between the lid and the bottom wall.

Abstract: A film capacitor according to the present disclosure includes a first film and a second film wound in a stacked state and a first deposition electrode and a second deposition electrode that are formed by metal deposition. The second deposition electrode includes widthwise slit portions, the widthwise slit portions crossing the second deposition electrode in its widthwise direction, split electrodes split by the widthwise slit portions, and a longitudinal slit portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the second deposition electrode in an ineffective electrode region shifted from an effective electrode region in the widthwise direction of the second deposition electrode. Each split electrode includes a first fuse portion bridging over a longitudinal slit portion and a second fuse portion that bridges over a widthwise slit portion and can be fused with a current smaller than a current for the first fuse portion.

Abstract: A film capacitor includes a first film, a second film, a first electrode part, and a second electrode part. The first electrode part is disposed on a first film surface of the first film. A first region having a light transmittance ranging from 30% to 80%, inclusive, is disposed between the first electrode part and the first non-electrode part. A second region having a light transmittance ranging from 30% to 80%, inclusive, is disposed between the second electrode part and the second non-electrode part. A width of each of the first region and the second region is less than or equal to 0.5 mm.

Abstract: A capacitor includes: a capacitor element; an insulation coated lead wire connected to an electrode of a capacitor element; and a resin covering the capacitor element and the insulation coated lead wire in a state that one end of the insulation coated lead wire is exposed from the resin. The insulation coated lead wire includes: a stranded wire in which a plurality of conductive wires are twisted with each other; and an insulator covering the stranded wire. An exposed part of the stranded wire is connected to the electrode of the capacitor element. The exposed part is a part exposed from the insulator at another end of the insulation coated lead wire. The exposed part is entirely covered with solder.

Abstract: A metallized film capacitor includes a dielectric film, a first metal film electrode disposed on a surface of the dielectric film, and a second metal film electrode facing the first metal film electrode across the dielectric film. The first metal film electrode includes first and second large electrode parts separated from each other by a first slit, and a fuse provided in the first slit and connected to the first and second large electrode parts. The first metal film electrode includes an aluminum part and an aluminum-zinc part. The aluminum part contains substantially only aluminum. The aluminum-zinc part mainly contains zinc and further contains aluminum. The aluminum-zinc part is disposed at least around the first fuse.
