Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes an exciting coil, a pair of fixed contacts, a movable spring, a magnet, and a yoke in contact with the magnet. The pair of fixed contacts is arranged along a first direction. The movable spring comes into contact with or moves away from the fixed contacts in response to the turn on or off of current to the exciting coil. The magnet prolongs the arc generated between the fixed contacts and the movable spring. The magnet is adjacent to the fixed contacts along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and is adjacent to the exciting coil along a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction. The yoke is adjacent to the fixed contacts along the third direction in a state where the yoke is in contact with the magnet.

Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet block, a pair of fixed contacts, a movable spring, and a stopper. The electromagnet block includes an exciter coil and an armature. The movable spring includes a fixed portion and a movable portion. The fixed portion is fixed to the electromagnet block. The movable portion contacts fixed contact and is separated from the fixed contacts in response to turning on and off of an energizing of the exciter coil. The stopper configured to restrict a movement of the movable portion. The armature is fixed to the movable portion and is displaced unitarily with the movable portion. The movable spring is configured to, upon turning on the energizing of the exciter coil, cause the movable portion to move, by magnetic force, in an approaching direction in which the movable portion approaches the fixed contacts with the fixed portion functioning as a fulcrum, and contact the fixed connection portions. The movable spring is configured to, upon turning off the energizing of the exciter coil, cause the movable portion to be separated, by restoring force, from the fixed contacts in a separating direction in which the movable portion is separated from the fixed contacts. The stopper is configured to, upon turning on the energizing of the exciter coil, contact the movable portion and reduce a moving speed of the movable portion in the approaching direction before the movable portion contacts the fixed contacts. The stopper is configured to, upon turning off the energizing of the exciter coil, contact the armature and reduce the moving speed of the movable portion in the separating direction.

The contact block includes: a biasing portion configured to bias the movable contactor toward one side in a driving shaft direction; and a yoke disposed at least on an opposite side of the movable contactor in the driving shaft direction while the movable contact is in contact with the fixed contact. The biasing portion includes a biasing end configured to make biasing force act on the movable contactor by pressing a member other than the yoke.

Abstract: Provided is a contact device in which all of three movable contacts can be securely brought into contact with fixed contacts. The contact device includes a fixed terminal 37 that has a fixed contact 35, a movable terminal 28 that moves toward and away from the fixed terminal 37 and has three movable contacts 31a, 31b, and 31c that are brought into contact with the fixed contact 35, and a pressing spring 33 that presses the movable terminal 28 and brings the movable contacts 31a, 31b, and 31c into contact with the fixed contacts 35 at a predetermined pressing force. The point of application of the pressing spring 33 is located in a triangle formed by internal tangents of the three movable contacts.
