    Abstract: A solid electrolyte composition includes a solid electrolyte and an organic solvent, in which the solid electrolyte contains I, and the organic solvent is a compound having an I-containing skeleton structure. A solid electrolyte layer includes an I-containing solid electrolyte and an organic compound that has a composition different from the solid electrolyte and has an I-containing skeleton structure. An electrode includes an I-containing solid electrolyte, an organic compound that has a composition different from the solid electrolyte and has an I-containing skeleton structure, and an active material.

    Abstract: A positive electrode material contains a positive electrode active material and a first solid electrolyte material. The first solid electrolyte material is represented by Chemical Formula (1): LiαMβXγ. In Chemical Formula (1), α, β, and γ each represent a value larger than 0, M represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of metal elements other than lithium and of metalloid elements, and X represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and iodine. The ratio of the volume of the positive electrode active material to the sum of the volume of the positive electrode active material and the volume of the solid electrolyte material is not less than 0.55 and not more than 0.85.

    Abstract: A solid electrolyte material of the present disclosure includes Li, M, A, and X. M is at least one selected from the group consisting of Nb, Ta, and Zr. A is at least one selected from the group consisting of O and S. X is at least one selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, Br, and I. The solid electrolyte material of the present disclosure has a Young's modulus of less than 23 GPa. A battery of the present disclosure includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and at least one selected from the group consisting of the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and the electrolyte layer contains the solid electrolyte material of the present disclosure.
