Abstract: A mat and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The mat includes a first foam layer, a second foam layer and a third foam layer. The first foam layer has a first hardness and a first porosity. The second foam layer is connected with the first foam layer and has a second hardness and a second porosity larger than the first porosity. The third foam layer is connected with the second foam layer and has a third hardness and a third porosity smaller than the first porosity. The second foam layer includes a first connecting surface facing the first foam layer and a second connecting surface facing the third foam layer. The contact area between the first connecting surface and the first foam layer is different from the contact area between the second connecting surface and the third foam layer.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a substantially flat foam floor mat is described. The raw materials for each color layer are separately mixed and heated below their foaming temperature in different batches, and separately pressed through heated rollers to form a plurality of unfoamed sheets. The temperature of the rollers are maintained within a range of 5° C. or less. Two or more unfoamed sheets from each batch are stacked together in a press and heated above their foaming temperature to permit the stacked sheets to foam, expand, and heat-weld together. The press restricts the sheets from vertical expansion while allowing horizontal expansion. Once the sheets are foamed, a series of alternating teeth and receiving slots are cut around the boundary of the mat to form an interlocking peripheral wall.

Abstract: Wall mounting assemblies and methods are disclosed. The assembly includes a bracket that has two frame members coupled at a hinge. Each frame member has a hook for engaging a recess or slot on a panel. The assembly further includes a panel that has edges that are configured to engage the edges of adjacent panels, without the need for tilting the panel to engage. Each panel has two slots for receiving the bracket. Bending the two frame members on the bracket causes the bracket's hooks to lock into the slots on the panel.

Abstract: A storage system comprises a rack of multiple platforms connectable to one another in a first direction, where each of the platforms has segments that connect to one another along a direction other than the first direction, via a user-operable coupling. The platforms are preferably rectangular, and are connected at their long ends. The segments of each platform are also preferably rectangular, but they are connected along their long sides. In such embodiments, the connection between platforms is perpendicular to the length of the rack, while the connection between segments is parallel to the length of the rack.
