    Abstract: A method, computer-readable media and system for providing Random Access Channel (RACH) response preamble prioritization are presented. In one embodiment a method includes receiving, from a RACH receiver at a Preamble Prioritization Element (PPE), a list of detected preambles from a plurality of User Equipment (UE) devices, the preambles having a configured priority for different preamble groups; providing, by the PPE, an ordered prioritized list of the detected preambles; and forwarding, by the PPE to a RACH response element, a predetermined number of detected preambles from the ordered prioritized list.

    Abstract: A method, computer readable media and a system for determining a Voice over LTE (VoLTE) codec is presented. In one embodiment a method includes discovering a packet header size used in a session using a Silence Insertion Descriptor (SID); inspecting downlink packet sizes coming into a receive buffer; determining when three consecutive packet sizes are greater than zero, then setting a first factor, a second factor, and a third factor equal to zero; calculating a header size; and determining a voice encoding codec by subtracting a header overhead value from the packet size.

    Abstract: A method is disclosed for enhancing downlink link adaptation (DLLA) for spectral efficiency maximization, comprising: providing an outer loop link adaptation (OLLA) routine with a first path for a first transmission mode and a second path for a second transmission mode; modifying, upon receiving a retransmit message for a first transmission with the first transmission mode, a first offset coefficient; modifying, upon receiving a second retransmit message for a second transmission with the second transmission mode, a second offset coefficient; and calculating a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) offset for the first transmission based on the first offset coefficient.

    Abstract: A method and system for for providing Circuit Switch Fall Back (CSFB) with Radio Access Network (RAN) Information Management (RIM) without network support is presented. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, by a coordinating server, direct information transfer System Information (SI) messages with RIM Packet Data Unit (PDU) from an eNodeB; sending, by the coordinating server, a RAN-information-request message to a relevant cell, using the routing information in the RIM PDU; collecting and replaying by the cell the SI needed for CFSB to the coordinating server; storing, by the coordinating server, the latest SI information per cell; and replaying, by the coordinating server, the eNodeB with the stored SI information using a MME direct information transfer S1 message.

    Abstract: Methods are disclosed for an adaptive Transmit Time Interval (TTI) Bundling Configuration using a measurement gap. In one embodiment the method includes scheduling allocation of a TTI bundle wherein part of the TTI bundle overlaps a measurement gap; transmitting, by a User Equipment (UE), only a part of the scheduled TTI bundle; and scheduling other UEs to use the resources not used by the scheduled TTI bundle.
