The method includes digitally combining 3D volume visualizations to form a plurality of four-dimensional (4D) volume visualizations representing the 3D volume visualizations over a period of time. The plurality of 4D volume visualizations include first and second 4D volume visualizations. The first 4D volume visualization including the entirety of the common region during a first time period, and the second 4D volume visualization including the entirety of the common region during a different second time period. The method also includes digitally combining the first and second 4D volume visualizations by digitally processing the first and second 4D volume visualizations to generate a modified 4D volume visualization of the entirety of the common region.

    摘要: A CT system includes a scintillator array having a first length in an axial direction of the CT system, the scintillator array includes a plurality of scintillator cells along the first length. The CT system includes a controller configured to repeatedly position a subject fore and aft along the axial direction and over a second length of the CT system, the second length greater than the first length, energize an x-ray source to emit x-rays toward the subject while the subject is being repeatedly positioned, and obtain non-uniform projection data of the subject from the scintillator array, the non-uniform projection data comprising the x-rays received from the x-ray source while the subject is repeatedly positioned. The CT system includes a computer programmed to reconstruct a plurality of temporally non-uniformly spaced images from the non-uniform projection data, interpolate the plurality of non-uniform images to form a plurality of temporally uniform images, and apply a perfusion map generation process to the plurality of temporally uniform images.

The interface includes a protocol list including available scanning protocols for a diagnostic imaging system and a dialog for accepting input from a user to specify one or more of the available scanning protocols from the protocol list. The dialog is configured to associate an order for scanning a patient using the diagnostic imaging system with the one or more specified scanning protocols.
