摘要： The present invention provides an improved blow molded plastic non-round container having generally rectangular sidewalls that are adapted for hot-fill applications. The hot-fill container has two adjacent sides one with a vacuum panel and the other with a series of ribs in the label mounting area on the sidewalls. The opposing sidewalls are symmetric relative to the vacuum panel and rib shape and placement. The ribs and vacuum panel cooperate to resist container upon filling and cooling and also improves bumper denting resistance, ease of manufacture and light weight capability.

The dome includes at least one stiffening structure formed by an inwardly indented, vertically extending groove.

摘要： An integral wood veneer strip having first, second, and third mutually generally perpendicular portions is produced simply and easily. A number of similarly shaped thin strips of wood, with adhesive between them, are placed together to form a linear laminate. Before curing of the adhesive, the laminate is placed in contact with a particularly contoured female die surface, with a flexible band over the laminate. A male die surface provides a pressing force at a central portion of the band to press the laminate into close conformance with the female die surface, and the ends of the band are attached up to rollers. The rollers are rotated to tighten the ends of the band, also bringing the ends of the laminate into tight contact with the female die surface. The adhesive is cured while the laminate is in the bent position (the curing may be facilitated by using microwaves), and then the laminate is released after curing, and may be utilized as decorative molding for furniture.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a system for packaging bottles having a neck portion. The system includes a tray unit and a bridge. The tray unit has a planar base, first and second opposite sidewalls, and first and second opposite end walls. The sidewalls and end walls extend outwardly from a periphery of the base and connect thereto to define a rectangular structure for holding a plurality of bottles arranged in a series of rows. The bridge has a central planar portion and a plurality of arcuate recesses extending into a periphery of the central planar portion. Each recess is sized to receive a neck portion of one of the bottles. A method of packaging bottles having neck portions is also disclosed.
