    摘要: Method of fabricating patterned layers using lift-off processes is disclosed. A patterned stacked layer is formed on a substrate. The patterned stacked layer consists of a sacrificed layer and a photoresist layer, which covers and extends out of the sacrificed layer. Next, a film layer having a thickness smaller than that of the sacrificed layer is formed on the patterned stacked layer and gaps between the patterned stacked layer. Then, the photoresist layer and the film layer disposed on the photoresist layer are removed using a lift-off process; finally the sacrificed layer is removed.

    摘要: A method of fabricating a liquid crystal panel is provided. First, a first substrate having a pixel array thereon is provided. Next, a sealing frame is formed on the first substrate around the pixel array. Next, a liquid crystal inkjet printing step is conducted to the region surrounded by the sealing frame to perform an alignment process. Then, the liquid crystal inkjet printing step is still performed to fill a liquid crystal material within the region surrounded by the sealing frame. Thereafter, a second substrate having an electrode layer thereon is provided. Then, the first and second substrates are assembled together through the sealing frame.

The silicon substrate has a pixel array thereon. The absorption layer is disposed over the pixel array. The color mirror is disposed over the absorption layer, and the color mirror reflects light having at least a predetermined range of wavelength and light not reflected by the color mirror is absorbed by the absorption layer. The transparent substrate having a transparent electrode thereon is disposed opposite to the silicon substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the color mirror and the transparent electrode.

After providing a wafer with a plurality of pixel structures on the front side, trenches with a pattern are formed on the backside of the wafer. A transparent plate is disposed above the front side of the wafer and a sealant is applied to join the wafer and the transparent plate. After cutting the wafer and the transparent plate into display cells of suitable sizes, liquid crystal is then introduced in-between the sealant of the display cells.

The color separation and polarization device is disposed on a light path of the white light, and adapted for separating and polarizing the white light to obtain a plurality of polarized monochromatic lights. The LCOS panel device is disposed on a light path of the polarized monochromatic lights, and the polarized monochromatic lights are partially polarized according to an inputted image signal. Thereafter, the partially polarized monochromatic lights are combined to obtain an output image signal.
