The system includes a control device connected to a Home Location Register/Visitor Location Register, and to a Mobile Switching Center. The control device is operable to, prior an interconnection is established, check in the Home Location Register/Visitor Location Register, or the Mobile Switching Center if the current cell, or the current location area of the mobile equipment for the interconnection is a border cell, or a border location area. If it is determined that it is a border cell, or a border location area, the control device is operable to set up a connection between a message system, included in the system, and the mobile equipment. The message system is operable to send a message to the mobile equipment informing the subscriber about the situation with the border cell, or the border location area prior the interconnection is established or disabled.

The method comprises the steps: to store a first list customized for each subscriber, the first list comprises information regarding the visited countries, number of times a certain country have been visited, and for how long time the country have been visited; to store a second list customized for each subscriber, the second list comprises information about preferred operators for a part of the countries on the first list; to receive a roaming signal from the Home Location Register when the mobile equipment is roaming into another network or monitor a roaming signal intended for the Home Location Register; in response to the roaming signal, to update the first list; if the first list has changed above a predetermined threshold value, to update the second list; and to send the updated second list to the mobile equipment.

    摘要: The invention relates to the organization of electronic messages (101) coming in to a user who can access his/her messages via at least two different types of access environments (130-165). A first storage area (100) receives the electronic messages (101), which each has an original data format. The electronic messages (101) are then stored according to a first structure (102). An agent (110) processes the electronic messages (101) into at least one set of processed electronic messages (113a-113c) having data formats, which are at least as adapted to an alternative access environment as the data formats of the corresponding original electronic messages. The processed electronic messages (113a-113c) are then stored according to at least one second structure (121a-121c) that is a mapping of the first structure (102). The user may either access an original electronic message (101) in the first structure (102) or one of the processed electronic messages (113a-113c) in the at least one second structure (121a-121c). The choice of message version is based on the type of access environment (130-165) that the user currently has at his/her disposal.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for dynamically reconfiguring a server system (200). When a new server configuration is applied, a previous server configuration is saved. When receiving service requests, a first server is selected by using a first scheduling algorithm according to the new configuration. If the selected server was incorrect, a second server is selected by using a second scheduling algorithm according to the saved previous configuration. User data associated with the received service request is moved from the second server, if correct, to the first server. In this way, stored data will be gradually and dynamically re-organised from the old configuration to the new configuration in a relatively simple way.
