摘要： Methods for tracking usage of a network by a plurality of users of a mobile phone include associating a plurality of user accounts with the mobile phone, where ones of the plurality of user accounts correspond to ones of the plurality of users of the mobile phone. Usage of the network by the mobile phone is automatically attributed to one of the plurality of user accounts responsive to receiving identifying information for a corresponding one of the plurality of users of the mobile phone. Charges for the one of the plurality of user accounts are calculated based on the usage attributed to the one of the plurality of user accounts. Related devices and computer program products are also discussed.

A subcriber may use prepaid cellular phone [110] to make and receive calls via cellular network [120]. A Mobile Switching Center (MSC) [135] routes the subscriber's calls to and/or from wireline network [130] for domestic connections and/or network [145] for international connection. A Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) operates a prepaid vendor service control point (SCP) [140], Prepaid Vendor Service Platform (PSP) [150], and connected databases [155], [160], and [165]. A method of providing a universal communications account includes: providing at least one account to a customer, enabling use of the account for a first type of connection and a second type of connection; and debiting the account based at least i part on one of the first type of connection and the second type of connection.

摘要： The object of the invention is a method and arrangement including equipment, with which it is possible to add right of use into a SIM card located in a cellular terminal of a cellular network. According to the invention the addition is made with the aid of a prepayment terminal according to the invention, and the possessor of the terminal pays in a desired manner the provided addition of right of use to the legal person, who acts as the intermediary. The cellular network operator bills the legal person, who provided the addition, by an amount corresponding to the added right of use.

The method includes ascertaining a geographic designator of a geographic area. The geographic area includes a plurality of geographic sub-areas that each correspond to a geographic sub-designator. The method also includes determining whether any two of the plurality of geographic sub-areas are not served by the same service location. When any two of the plurality of geographic sub-areas are not served by the same service location, the service area is defined by only the sub-designators corresponding to the geographic sub-areas served by the service location. When each of the plurality of geographic sub-areas are served by the same service location, the service area is defined by the geographic designator.
