摘要: A baby walker is introduced herein. The baby walker includes a base and a pair of shoulder straps. The base is made by flexible materials such as plastics, or the similar materials. In one exemplary embodiment, the base of the baby walker may be packaged in a deflated form, and may be filled with air to form a shape as desired for an operation mode. The baby walker further includes a pair of shoulder straps which are firmly and fixedly attached in a peripheral upper side of the base. When the baby is placed in a central cavity of the base, the pair of the shoulder straps can be placed alongside the two shoulders of the baby. When the baby wears the baby walker and stands up, the whole baby walker is lifted up for a height above the ground level.

摘要: A centrifugal force sensing device is disclosed, which includes a first rotating shaft, two first movable and two first fixing sleeves, a first and a second weight, two first and two second linkages, a restoration element, a first sensing unit for sensing centrifugal force, and two fixers. The two first movable sleeves are disposed through the first rotating shaft. The two first linkages are connected to the first weight and the two first movable sleeves. The restoration element having a fixing block and two first damping elements is disposed at the first rotating shaft. The two second linkages are connected to the second weight and the two first movable sleeves. The two first fixing sleeves are fixed at the first rotating shaft and respectively located between each of the two first movable sleeves and one of the two fixers.

摘要: Disclosed herein are methods for differentiation of neuronal cells from stem cells, which produce a three-dimensional model of the neocortex structure. In some embodiments, the methods include culturing stem cells with at least one inhibitor of SMAD signaling and at least one inhibitor of fibroblast growth factor signaling for a period of time to result in formation of an embryoid body. The embryoid body is then cultured with at least one FGF (for example, basic FGF) for a period of time sufficient to produce a neuroepithelial (NE) rosette. The rosette is then isolated and cultured in suspension or adherent culture in the presence of at least one FGF for a period of time sufficient to produce cells with dorsal cortical identity and those cells are then cultured in the substantial absence of trophic factors for a period of time sufficient to form a neocortical organoid.

摘要: Disclosed are methods that include separately differentiating stem cells to form cortical neural progenitor cells and differentiating stem cells to form dopaminergic neural progenitor cells. The cortical progenitor cells are transferred to a first compartment of a culture dish and the dopaminergic progenitor cells are transferred to a second compartment of the culture dish, separated by a removable barrier. The cortical progenitor cells and dopaminergic progenitor cells are cultured in medium that promotes differentiation of cortical neurons and dopaminergic neurons, respectively. The barrier is then removed, creating a single chamber containing the cortical progenitor cells and the dopaminergic progenitor cells, separated by a gap. The cortical progenitor cells and the dopaminergic progenitor cells are then cultured in a single medium, which promotes further differentiation of the neurons and also supports formation of connections (such as synapses or synapse-like structures) between at least some of the cortical neurons and dopaminergic neurons.
