摘要: This invention relates to the differentiation of pluripotent cells (PSCs) into foregut stem cells (FSCs) using a definitive endoderm induction medium comprising a TGFfi ligand, fibroblast growth factor (FGF), bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) and a PI3K inhibitor to differentiate the pluripotent cells into definitive endoderm cells and a foregut induction medium comprising a TGFβ ligand to differentiate the definitive endoderm cells into foregut stem cells (FSCs). Methods of differentiation, populations of foregut stem cells, culture media and kits are provided.

Also disclosed are bioactive compositions or substrates including the disclosed borophosphate glass composition, and at least one live cell. Also disclosed are methods of inhibiting or increasing the relative amount of species containing boron, phosphorous, or both, being released into an aqueous solution from aborophosphate glass composition defined herein. Also disclosed is a method of proliferating cells on a bioactive substrate as defined herein. Also disclosed are related glass compositions that exclude one of B2O3, P2O5, and CaO.

摘要: The present invention relates to a serum-free conditioned medium that solves the drawbacks mentioned in the prior art, as it does not require prior handling of the cells, and it furthermore allows starting from a large population with no additional cost. This medium favors in vitro proliferation and conservation of the pluripotency potential that allows maintaining a state that is undifferentiated with respect to the subpopulation of cancer stem cells (CSCs) and in turn does not allow survival of the differentiated cells.

摘要: The present invention relates to compositions and methods for producing dendritic cells and particularly to compositions and methods for producing immature dendritic cells that are immunocompetent. We describe a method of producing dendritic cells by cultivation of monocytes, characterised by at least one of: pre-treatment of a tissue culture surface with at least one of: a substantially plasma-free and serum-free pre-treatment medium, a pre-treatment medium comprising heparin, and a pre-treatment medium comprising a protein solution; adsorption of monocytes using at least one of: a substantially plasma-free and serum-free adsorption medium; cultivation of monocytes using a substantially plasma-free and serum-free cultivation medium. We also describe compositions including the dentritic cells and uses of the dentritic cells.
