    摘要: I disclose processes and methods that by combining pictures in specific ways could boost, enforce, and optimize language learning. Herein I disclose the combination of several pictures all of them related to the same word in order to elicit said word in the observer. Also, by showing a word together with several photos, and by having to choose the photo/s related to the word, the observer can enforce the word learning process. Moreover, I describe the replacement headers of classical multi-choice questions with a photograph. I also show that by intermingling pictures and words, photos can become language units in the same token as conventional words. Finally as a practical embodiment of this method, I provide a game that can be both entertaining and educational.

    摘要: The instant invention describes a surgical tool for providing cavitations, or void spots, within the interior of body regions. The surgical tool is constructed and arranged to penetrate almost all interior body regions in which formation of a cavity or void space is necessary for diagnostic or treatment purposes. The surgical tool comprises an insertable member receiving structure sized and shaped to receive one or more insertable devices. The interior lumen of the insertable member receiving structure allows the insertable device to slide and/or rotate relative to the insertable member receiving structure and vice versa. At least one insertable member is a cavity forming device which has a plurality of cavity forming members constructed and arranged with spring-like characteristics for traversing between a cavity forming position and a non-cavity forming position. Upon traversal back to the cavity forming position, the displacement members retain their cavity forming structural configurations.

    摘要: An electromechanical Braille cell assembly includes a plurality of parallel bimorph reeds. A first plurality of bimorph reeds is mounted to a first side of a printed circuit board by a first plurality of clips and a second plurality of bimorph reeds is mounted to a second side of the printed circuit board by a second plurality of clips. A frame has a top wall, a bottom wall, a first side wall in the form of an angle wall and a second side wall in the form of a flat wall. Pinholes are formed in the angle wall to accommodate Braille pins and the flat wall is slotted to accommodate a plurality of printed circuit boards. A monolithic cap covers all of the Braille pins. Pinholes formed in the cap receive the respective tips of the Braille cells when actuated bimorph reeds cause displacement of the Braille pins.

In one embodiment, an external fixation apparatus includes a first member attachable to a first bone segment through pins, a second member coupled to the first member through a lockable ball joint, wherein first and second ends of the second member may be translated transversely relative to a longitudinal axis of the second member, and a pin clamp coupled to and rotatable about the second member through a lockable joint and attachable to a second bone segment. The pin clamp and the second member may be releasably coupled.
