For recognizing the size of the cassette first and second identifying means are provided which determine the length and the width of the cassette. These determining means are in communication with comparing means which compare the determined values with nominal values corresponding to predetermined length-and-width values.

    摘要: An apparatus for loading and unloading a film cassette, in particular an X-ray film cassette, has a housing defining a compartment and includes a front face provided with an opening to the compartment through which opening the cassette is introduced. For transporting the cassette from the opening into the compartment, and for discharging the cassette, the apparatus is provided with at least one carrier roller extending parallel to the opening of the housing. The carrier roller transports the cassette to an unlocking station in which the cassette is unlocked. For removing the exposed film and loading of a new film into the cassette, second transport means are provided which move the cassette from the unlocking station into a removing station and subsequently into a loading station.

    摘要: An arrangement for loading and unloading X-ray film cassettes is provided with a channel bounded by bottom, top and lateral walls. At one of its ends, the channel has an inlet opening for the cassettes, while it is provided with an abutment wall at its other end. A plurality of transporting rollers is accommodated in respective slots of the bottom wall, each of the transporting rollers slightly projecting above the bottom wall to engage and entrain the respective cassette resting thereon. A switching roller is situated in a recess of the bottom wall between the inlet opening and the first of the transporting rollers. The switching roller is supported on springs so that, when the cassette rests thereon, it is depressed into the recess, so that the respective spring activates an associated light barrier that issues a control signal. The control signal is used for energizing the drive for the transporting rollers, if de-energized, and for de-energizing the drive, if energized. A microswitch in the abutment wall de-energizes the drive when depressed by the cassette. A switching element sensitive to re-closing of the cassette re-energizes the drive, but in the opposite direction. A closing slide is used for light-tightly closing and for opening the inlet opening in cycle with the movement of the cassette.

    摘要: In a method for reprocessing aqueous, oily and greasy cleaning solutions by separating oil and grease out of the solution in an oil separator, a mixture of oil, grease and cleaning solution separated in the oil separator is subjected to vaporization for the purpose of thickening it, the hot water vapor thereby resulting is used to heat the oil separator and the condensed water resulting from the vapor is fed back to the cleaning solution for its regeneration. An apparatus for performing this method is characterized in that the oil separator is enclosed by an outer casing, in the bottom region of which the separated cleaning solution containing oil and grease is collected and vaporized, the hot vapor thereby resulting being utilized to heat the cleaning fluid in the oil separator. A condensate collecting tray is provided between the bottom region of the outer casing and a bottom wall of the oil separator and condensed water flows from this tray back into the cleaning solution.

    摘要: In a process for cleaning one or more articles in the vapor phase of an organic solvent the solvent vapor is fed into a cleaning chamber (1) wherein an absolute pressure of 200 mbar or less is maintained and the cleaning is conducted at a temperature at or above the flash point of the organic solvent. These devices are connected by means of a conduit system which is equipped with a vacuum pump (7), two pumps (8 and 9) and valves (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22). Inlet air (11) can be fed into the cleaning chamber (1). Waste gas (10) can be removed from the apparatus by means of the vacuum pump (7).

The drying gas circuit includes in series one after the other a ventilator, a condenser, a heating device and an adsorber containing activated carbon. The circuit is operated such that during a drying phase the condenser is cooled, the heating device switched on and the activated carbon regenerated by the hot circulating air whereupon, during an adsorption phase with the condenser switched on and the heating device switched off, the remaining solvent vapor is withdrawn from the circulating drying air by the activated carbon.
