    摘要: A material handling machine for transferring discrete loads of excavated, uncrushed waste from an excavator or other excavation equipment to a dumping location beyond the reach of the excavator. The material handling machine may include a mobile bridge supported by two or more crawlers. The material handling machine may further include at least one skip that is selectively moved between a first end and a second end of the mobile bridge. The at least one skip may receive material from excavation equipment at the first end and deposit the received material proximate the second end. When the material handling machine includes two skips, one skip may be positioned above the other skip, or the skips may be positioned to be side-by-side.

In the process, the motions of the working members in accordance with lever handling motions of an operator are stored in a controller and reproduced to approximately conduct the operation. The operational errors of the reproduced motions of the working members are corrected and compensated in accordance with newly inputted lever handling motions of the operator while approximately conducting the operation, thereby accomplishing the desired operation. The process optimally controls the excavators regardless of working conditions, thereby improving the operational precision of the excavators. The above process does not need to use any sensors.

    摘要: A multiplicity of teeth are mounted to a beam in a comb structure, with the space between the teeth defining slots. The edges of the slots are lined with upstanding flanges which are sharpened to form cutting edges. The comb structure is arranged to be substantially parallel to an array of bag breaking bars. The bars interdigitate with the teeth and thus pass through the narrow openings between the teeth where the knife edges scrape the bars, thereby cutting free any material adhering to or impaled upon the bag breaking bars. Alternatively, an apparatus for cleaning a bag breaker has a pivotally mounted are having a fork which is aligned to receive a bar between the tines of the fork. The fork engages the base of the bar and then proceeds to slide up the bar as the forward motion of the bar causes the arm to pivot. In this way, material impaled upon a bar is slid or scraped upwardly towards the top of the bar. When the fork reaches the top of the bar and has thus removed any material impaled upon the bar, it pivots in response to an attached spring back to its initial position wherein it engages the next bar in sequence.

    摘要: A refuse compactor body has a tank section of an irregular polygonal right section that is uniform from end to end. The tank wall is made of rectangular pieces of thin very high tensile strength sheet metal and externally reinforced at spaced intervals longitudinally of the tank by polygonal peripherally continuous girth reinforcements, made up of straight short sections of metal tubes, to make a semi-monocoque structure. A floor portion of the tank is recessed between the longitudinal body support beams, which are the sole body support, to provide a relatively low center of gravity when mounted on a truck chassis. A hopper section of the body has a packer that obturates about two-thirds of the opening to the tank and is fitted at its upper edge with a follower that pivots to a shallower slope to keep refuse from falling behind the packer blade during a compaction stroke of the packer. In a fully extended position, the upper edge of the packer does not penetrate the tank entrance and so avoids excessive stresses on the tank roof at the entrance. In a retracted position of the hopper, the follower and the packer together define a sloping surface to deflect refuse towards the packing face of the packer.
