摘要: A method of creating a three-dimensional image signal including receiving a first image component, receiving a second component for creating a three-dimensional image in combination with the first image component, receiving a text component for including in the three-dimensional image, receiving a data component comprising location information describing the location of the text component within the three-dimensional image, and creating a three-dimensional image signal comprising the first image component, the second component, the text component, and the data component. The signal is rendered by rendering a three-dimensional image from the first image component and the second component, the rendering including rendering the text component in the three-dimensional image. The rendering of the text component includes adjusting three-dimensional parameters of the three-dimensional image in the location of the rendered text component.

摘要: A system of controlling displaying of image data has a source device (10), for example a BD player, which processes source image data for outputting the image data in dependence of first display parameters, and has a user control (15) for controlling the display parameters. The image data is transferred from the source device to a display device (13), which displays the image data in dependence of further display parameters, and has a further user control (16) for setting the further display parameters. The source device provides a display control mask structure, which is transferred with the image data to the display device. The display device displays the image data in dependence of the display control mask structure by masking said setting of the further display parameters according to the display control mask structure. 摘要: A three dimensional [3D] video signal (41) is provided for transferring to a 3D destination device (50). Depth metadata is determined indicative of depths occurring in the 3D video data, which depth metadata includes a near value indicative of depths of video data nearest to a user. The 3D video signal, which comprises the 3D video data, now also includes the depth metadata. The 3D destination device (50) is enabled to retrieve the depth metadata, to provide auxiliary data, and to position the auxiliary data at an auxiliary depth in dependence of the retrieved metadata for displaying the auxiliary data in combination with the 3D video data such that obscuring the auxiliary data by said nearest video data, and/or disturbing effects at the boundary of the auxiliary data, is avoided.

摘要: A three dimensional [3D] video signal (41) is provided for transferring to a 3D destination device (50). 摘要: A method of decoding and outputting video information suitable for three-dimensional [3D] display, the video information comprising encoded main video information suitable for displaying on a 2D display and encoded additional video information for enabling three-dimensional [3D] display, the method comprising: receiving or generating three-dimensional [3D] overlay information to be overlayed over the video information; buffering a first part of the overlay information to be overlayed over the main video information in a first buffer; buffering a second part of overlay information to be overlayed over the additional video information in a second buffer; decoding the main video information and the additional video information and generating as a series of time interleaved video frames, each outputted video frame being either main video frame or additional video frame; determining a type of an video frame to be outputted being either a main video frame or an additional video frame; overlaying either first or second part of the overlay information on an video frame to be outputted in agreement with the determined type of frame outputting the video frames and the overlayed information.
