摘要: This invention presents a method for uplink SRS transmission in MU-MIMO wireless communication systems comprising the BS reserving resources for SRS transmission and multiplexing the reserved resources among neighboring cells and among multiple UEs allocated to the same SRS transmission resource; the BS estimating the CQI of each UE through the uplink channel; and the BS allocating the same resource to a group of UEs to transmit uplink SRSs based on the estimated CQI and the QoS requirement.

摘要: This invention presents methods for power allocation for each data stream on each transmitting antennas in MU-MIMO wireless communication systems comprising the BS computing the temporary beamforming matrix, constructing special matrices and vectors with the maximum transmitting power on each antenna, the allocated power to each data stream, the channel quality of each data stream, and the amplitude of each element of the temporary beamforming matrix, calculating the power allocated to each data stream on each antenna with the calculated special matrices and vectors, and adjusting each element of the temporary beamforming matrix to obtain the final beamforming matrix.

摘要: This invention presents a method and systems for beamforming in wireless communication comprising a base station with a plural of antennas and radio frequency transmitting and receiving chains, a plural of base band transmitting paths and base band receiving paths, and a processor that constructs a subspace for each user equipment using the principal angle information contained in partial channel state information obtained on channels associated with a part of the BS antennas, derives an analog beamforming matrix and/or an analog combining matrix from the subspaces of all the user equipment selected for communication with the base station to achieve analog beamforming, and further performs beamforming at the base band.
