Abstract: A method and system includes a first radio establishing a group of radios that has a first plurality of radios and the first radio and a second radio not within the group. The first radio generates a first communication signal. The first communication signal includes a first radio identifier and first position data. The first radio receives the first communication signal, determines second position data of the first radio and compares the first position data and the second position data to obtain a distance. The first radio or the second radio broadcasts the first radio identifier and the first position data to the group when the distance is within a predetermined distance in response to comparing.
