    摘要: A TTL to CMOS static input buffer, and method for making same, having a first transistor (32) of a first conductivity type, having a control terminal responsive to a TTL input signal, a first output terminal coupled to a first voltage supply (Vdd) and a second output terminal; a second transistor (31) of a second conductivity type, having a predetermined threshold voltage, a predetermined width-to-length ratio, a control terminal responsive to the TTL input signal, a first output terminal coupled to an output node and a second output terminal coupled to a second voltage supply; a third transistor (33) of the second conductivity type, having a predetermined threshold voltage, a predetermined width-to-length ratio, a control terminal coupled to an intermediate voltage source, a first output terminal coupled to the second terminal of the first transistor and a second output terminal coupled to the output node; and a CMOS inverter (35) having a predetermined threshold voltage Vb; wherein the static input buffer has a predetermined threshold voltage established by the threshold voltage of the CMOS inverter and the ratio of the width-to-length ratio of the third transistor to the width-to-length ratio of the second transistor, when the buffer is enabled by the voltage of the intermediate voltage source being substantially that of the first voltage supply.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for transferring convenience feature data (e.g., speed dial numbers, etc.) from one telephone to another local telephone within the same home or small office. In particular, the telephone includes a memory located within a corded or cordless telephone configured for storing data, and a transfer module configured to transfer requested data between the memory and a target device in response to a transfer request. The corded telephone utilizes a DTMF generator/receiver, a demodulation/modulation module, or a Bluetooth module to establish a communication path between the corded telephone and the target device. The cordless telephone utilizes a DTMF generator/receiver, a demodulation/modulation module, a radio frequency (RF) transceiver, or a Bluetooth module to establish a communication path between the cordless telephone and the target device. A transfer request may be a download, upload, or synchronization request between the memory of the corded or cordless telephone and the target device. By providing means to transfer data between corded or cordless telephone and a transfer device, information may be automatically shared locally or remotely between multiple devices. Moreover, telephones with corrupted memories or erased memories may be automatically updated or restored.

    摘要: Techniques for improving security of transactions requesting user authentication data entry via mobile devices are described herein. The mobile device is configured to wirelessly communicate using a near field communications (NFC) standard used to communicate over very short distances. The mobile device includes a graphical user interface (GUI) configured to display a virtual keypad arranged in a randomly generated pattern, the pattern being configured to be changed in a random manner at each instance of displaying the virtual keypad. Security of transaction is improved by randomly changing positions of virtual keys of the virtual keypad configured to receive the user authentication data.
