Abstract: A paper size detection module includes a position sensing assembly and a sliding block assembly. The position sensing assembly is installed on a bottom side of a paper supporting plate. The position sensing assembly includes a carrier plate, a sensing circuit board and plural elastomers. The first ends of the elastomers are connected with the sensing circuit board. The second ends of the elastomers are protruded out of the carrier plate and have corresponding pressed surfaces. The sliding block assembly includes a paper positioning block and at least one roller. The paper positioning block is installed on the paper supporting plate. The roller is connected with the paper positioning block and rolled along the carrier plate. When a position of the pressed surface rolled and pressed by the roller is detected, the sensing circuit board generates a paper size signal.

Abstract: A scanning module structure includes an optical reflective casing, a light-emitting element, and an optical sensing module. The optical reflective casing includes plural fixed tilting structures and plural reflective aluminum sheets. The plural fixed tilting structures are integrally formed with the optical reflective casing. The plural reflective aluminum sheets are disposed on corresponding fixed tilting structures. The light-emitting element is used for emitting a light beam. The light beam is reflected by the plural reflective aluminum sheets. When the scanning module structure is enabled, the light beam emitted by the light-emitting element is projected onto a document. After the light beam is reflected by the document, the light beam is introduced into the optical sensing module. The light beam is sequentially reflected by the plural reflective aluminum sheets, and then projected onto the optical sensing module. Consequently, a document image corresponding to the document is generated.

Abstract: A sheet size detecting mechanism includes a sheet guiding module, a sensing module and a control unit. The sensing module includes a contact element and a circuit board. The circuit board includes a first conducting part, a second conducting part and plural fixed resistors. The first conducting part includes plural conductive segments. The plural conductive segments are connected with the corresponding fixed resistors, respectively. While the sheet guiding module is moved relative to the sheet input tray, the contact element is moved with the sheet guiding module. When the electric connection between a first conductive segment and the second conducting part is established through the contact element, the corresponding fixed resistor provides a resistance value, and the circuit board issues a sensing signal according to the resistance value. The control unit acquires the size of the paper sheet according to the sensing signal.
