    摘要: This invention relates to signaling of resource assignments in cross-carrier scheduling scenarios. In order to enable cross-carrier scheduling in a mobile communication system using carrier aggregation while avoiding erroneous detection of assigned physical resources that could lead to HARQ soft buffer corruption/degradation of the system throughput, the invention suggests a scheme for explicitly indicating within downlink control information (DCI) including a resource assignment for the downlink (or uplink) the number of OFDM symbol(s) used for control signaling within a sub-frame on a component carrier on which resources are assigned by the DCI. In one exemplary implementation the number of OFDM symbol(s) used for control signaling is the PCFICH values signaled in a 3GPP LTE-A network. The indication of the OFDM symbol(s) within the sub-frame on the assigned component carrier may for example be jointly encoded with other control signaling information, e.g. with the carrier cation of the carrier indicator field.

    摘要: In a mobile communication system with uncorrelated channel characteristics, transmission using modulation of data symbols with repetition can improve the performance. However, mapping of the original and the repeated symbols into the physical resources may on the other hand reduce a desired level of diversity when the original and the corresponding repeated symbols map on the physical resources close to each other. The present invention provides a method for transmission, a transmitter, a method for receiving, and a receiver capable of efficiently transmit/receive data symbols with an increased level of diversity. This is achieved by grouping of portions of the original and the corresponding data symbols and by mapping the portions of the original and the corresponding data symbols into the different physical resource blocks.

To suggest a scheme for transmitting feedback on the successful/unsuccessful decoding of transmissions that is operable in FDD mode, the invention proposes to utilize only a single one of plural radio resources available for feedback transmission for signaling feedback for multiple transmissions. A feedback sequence of ACK/NACKs for the transmissions is mapped to one feedback resource combination that is one of the radio resources available for feedback transmission and a modulation symbol of the given modulation scheme that is transmitted on said one radio resource. This scheme can also be used in cases where the number of possible feedback sequences of ACK/NACKs for the transmissions is larger than the number of feedback resource combinations available for feedback transmission.
