Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for beamforming in environments with angular constraints are described. A wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) or base station may configure beam parameters based on a sensitivity level of a neighboring wireless device (e.g., a satellite). The configuration of beam parameters may be based on an interference power profile (e.g., threshold(s) indicated by an interference power profile). The interference power profile may specify a mask, which may indicate allowed or unintended directions for transmission or a transmission power mask. A beamformed transmission may be in accordance with the configured beam parameters, which may result in a reduced transmission power in one or more directions, compliance with total power limits, peak power limits, or energy radiated over a period of time, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for addressing scenarios where the minimum transmit power supported by an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node is above a minimum value specified by a standard. In some cases, the IAB node may signal information regarding its power configuration so a network entity of the IAB may take it into account (e.g., when allocating or scheduling resources). The power configuration may include an indication of the minimum transmit power supported by the IAB node and/or an indication of a guard band that may help the IAB node control adjacent channel leakage.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to enable a mobile access node to enter a new power state based on detection of a second access node. The second access node may be detected by the mobile access node or a central unit (CU). The mobile access node or the CU may determine for the mobile access node to enter a new power state and may notify the other of the determination. The mobile access node may enter a lower power state if the second access node is within a defined proximity or if one or more thresholds are exceeded. The mobile access node may enter a higher power state if no other access nodes are within the defined proximity or if the one or more thresholds are not exceeded. Configuration parameters for a power state change procedure may be configured by control signaling from a CU.
