    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a slot or a symbol where a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for a Procedure 2 (P2) resource is to be scheduled. The UE may schedule a candidate UE beam or a serving UE beam for the slot or the symbol. The UE may measure a spectral efficiency associated with the P2 resource. The UE may prepare a report that indicates one or more characteristics of the candidate UE beam or the serving UE beam. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: A UE performs a cell search based on a synchronization raster in an operating band in frequency, the synchronization raster having a valid range and an SSB search with a step size greater than one based on a channel raster range of a channel raster within the operating band, a duplex mode of the operating band, a bandwidth of an SSB, and a minimum guard band size, and select a cell based on the cell search. A network node may be configured to transmit an SSB for a cell at a frequency based on a synchronization raster in an operating band, the synchronization raster having a valid range based on a channel raster range of a channel raster within the operating band, a duplex mode of the operating band, a bandwidth of the SSB, and a minimum guard band size, and communicate with at least one UE via the cell.

    Abstract: The base station may transmit to the UE, a first part and a second part of a PDSCH. The UE may decode the second part of the PDSCH. The first part of the PDSCH may be associated with a higher MCS than the second part of the PDSCH. The UE may estimate at least one of an ICI or a CPE associated with the PDSCH based on the decoding of the second part of the PDSCH. The UE may decode the first part of the PDSCH based on the decoding of the second part of the PDSCH. Decoding the first part of the PDSCH based on the decoding of the second part of the PDSCH may include correcting for the at least one of the ICI or the CPE associated with the PDSCH.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for cancelling transmissions during handover operations. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) can cancel at least a portion of a first uplink transmission where the first uplink transmission overlaps with a second uplink transmission scheduled by a target cell in a dual active protocol stack (DAPS)-based handover (HO). In another aspect, a network can receive, from the UE, a capability indicating whether cancelling uplink transmission from a source cell in DAPS-based HO is supported, and the network can schedule an uplink transmission for the UE during the DAPS-based HO to the target cell based on the capability.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a channel state information reference signal that includes a plurality of resource blocks. The UE may sub-sample one or more portions of the plurality of resource blocks prior to performing one or more channel state feedback computations. Accordingly, the UE may perform the one or more channel state feedback computations based at least in part on the one or more sub-sampled portions of the plurality of resource blocks and transmit, to the base station, a channel state feedback report based at least in part on the one or more channel state feedback computations that are performed using the one or more sub-sampled portions of the plurality of resource blocks.
