The method includes monitoring a set of master information block broadcasts from a base station to obtain a first set of samples associated with a first prior target transmission time interval (TTI) and a second set of samples associated with a current TTI, identifying a payload change in the master information block broadcasts between the first set of one or more prior TTIs and the current TTI based on a comparison between the first set of samples and the second set of samples, modifying the first set of samples based on the identified payload change, and decoding a master information block based on a combination of the modified first set of samples and the second set of samples. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

摘要: Techniques and apparatus for transmission and reception with partial allocation in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA)/single-carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) systems are provided. One technique includes determining first parameter(s) to apply to transmission/receive processing of a signal, based in part on a resource allocation for the signal. The resource allocation is partitioned out of a larger system bandwidth. Second parameter(s) to apply to the transmission/receive processing are determined based at least in part on the first parameter(s). Transmission/receive processing of the signal is performed in accordance with the first and second parameters.

摘要: A method, computer-readable medium, and apparatus are provided. The apparatus may determine a first set of subframes in the narrowband TDD frame structure used for transmitting a downlink control channel to a UE. In one aspect, a last subframe in the first set of subframes may be subframe n. Further, the apparatus may determine a second set of subframes in the narrowband TDD frame structure used for transmitting a downlink data channel to the UE. In certain aspects, a first subframe in the second set of subframes may be delayed based on k0 number of subframes after the subframe n. In certain other aspects, a last subframe in the second set of subframes may be subframe n+k0+x. Additionally, the apparatus may signal first information associated with the k0 number of subframes to the UE in a first delay field in a DCI transmission.

摘要: A resynchronization signal (RSS) may extend across multiple physical resource blocks (PRBs) or subframes, which may cause the RRS to be scheduled to overlap with other downlink transmissions. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for management of RSS and one or more other transmission types that may have overlapping wireless resources with the RSS. If one or more other downlink transmissions are scheduled for resources that overlap with resources scheduled for an RSS transmission, the UE may receive the RSS transmission or the one or more other downlink transmissions, or a combination thereof, based on a prioritization of the transmission types of the one or more other downlink transmissions relative to RSS. The RSS transmission or the one or more other transmissions may be delayed, dropped, punctured, or rate-matched when the RSS transmission and the one or more other downlink transmissions conflict.

摘要: There is a need to support narrowband TDD frame structure for narrowband communications. The present disclosure provides a solution by supporting one or more narrowband TDD frame structure(s) for narrowband communications. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may determine a narrowband communication frame structure comprising a FDD mode or a TDD mode and a particular TDD frame structure for narrowband communications from a group of narrowband TDD frame structures. The apparatus may determine a periodicity, subframe number, and transmission sequence associated with a SSS based at least in part on the narrowband TDD frame structure. The apparatus may transmit the SSS using the narrowband TDD frame structure determined for the narrowband communications. In one aspect, the SSS may be transmitted in a same subframe within a frame and at a periodicity of 2 or more frames.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to techniques for mitigating the decoding errors observed at the receiver as a result of puncturing symbols between consecutive subframes having the same transmission direction. To reduce the decoding errors, a plurality of transmission options, each including a number of resource blocks and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), may be identified. In addition, each transmission option may be associated with one or more puncturing patterns that hinder decoding of a codeword at the receiver. The base station or user equipment (UE) may then select or modify at least one aspect of a scheduling decision involving the communication of the codeword in a given subframe of at least two consecutive subframes to minimize decoding errors. For example, a selected puncturing pattern or a transport block size associated with a selected transmission option may be modified.
