Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for aperiodic measurement configurations. In one aspect, delaying transitioning of a secondary cell group (SCG) to an active state until a next synchronization signal block (SSB) or periodic reference signal may result in an excessive delay in obtaining network resources of the SCG. Some aspects described herein enable a base station (BS) to transmit signaling using a master cell group (MCG) cell to schedule resources for an aperiodic reference signal transmission and measurement using the SCG. For example, the BS may transmit signaling to a user equipment (UE) to identify a reference signal resource for an aperiodic reference signal transmission and measurement. In this case, the BS may transmit the aperiodic reference signal using an SCG cell, and the UE may measure the aperiodic reference signal and provide a report identifying the measurement of the aperiodic reference signal.

Abstract: Methods, computer program products, and apparatuses for staggering downlink and uplink communications are provided. An example method at a UE includes establishing a connection with a base station. The example method further includes receiving, from the base station, at least one staggering indication comprising a downlink staggering offset for downlink communication and an uplink staggering offset for uplink communication, the downlink communication being an XR, a VR, or an AR downlink communication and the uplink communication being an XR, a VR, or an AR uplink communication. The example method further includes communicating, with the base station, via downlink communication or uplink communication based on the uplink staggering offset and the downlink staggering offset.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication is performed by a first device. The method includes suspending wake up signal (WUS) monitoring for a specified period of time, for a number of cycles, or until a message is received instructing resumption of monitoring. The method also includes resuming wake up signal monitoring after the specified period of time, the number of cycles, or after the message is received instructing resumption of monitoring.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a method for wireless communication. The method generally includes receiving a message for dual-active-protocol stack (DAPs) handover (HO) from a source network entity to a target network entity, wherein carrier-aggregation (CA) is configured with the source network entity prior to reception of the message for HO, deactivating the CA in response to reception of the message for handover (HO) to activate a single carrier mode with the source network entity, and performing the HO from the source network entity to the target network entity during a HO period, wherein the single carrier mode is maintained with the source network entity during at least a portion of the HO period, and wherein connection with the target network entity is maintained during the at least the portion of the HO period.
