    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive a reflection of a first radar waveform transmitted by the first UE. The UE may receive a second radar waveform from a second UE, wherein the second radar waveform is a direct transmission from the second UE or a reflection of the direct transmission. The UE may perform target detection based at least in part on the reflection of the first radar waveform and on the second radar waveform. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: False alarms in RADAR processing are reduced. One or more transforms may be performed to generate an array of spectrum values for a first domain spanning at least one of a range axis, a direction of arrival (DoA) axis, or a velocity axis. One or more spectrum values may be obtained from the array of spectrum values, wherein for each of the one or more spectrum values, (1) the spectrum value is associated with a range estimate, and (2) the spectrum value exceeds a range-dependent maximum threshold established based on a quartic function of the range estimate. The one or more spectrum values identified as exceeding the range-dependent maximum threshold may be excluded, or one or more reduced-magnitude values obtained, to generate an array of modified spectrum values for the first domain, used to generate a range estimate, a DoA estimate, or a velocity estimate, or any combination thereof.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information that indicates whether to perform a first random access channel (RACH) procedure for a non-terrestrial network or a second RACH procedure for a terrestrial network, wherein the first RACH procedure is configured to support a larger number of UEs contemporaneously performing a RACH procedure than the second RACH procedure. Responsive to the information indicating that the UE is to perform the first RACH procedure, the UE may perform the first RACH procedure. Numerous other aspects are provided.
