Abstract: Described herein are aspects related to assigning primary channels in wireless communications. An amount of available bandwidth within a radio frequency band can be determined for shared access by a plurality of operators, where each operator operates a radio access network having one of a plurality of radio communication compatibility types, and where each radio communication compatibility type defines a set of one or more compatible radio access technologies. The amount of available bandwidth can be allocated into radio compatibility type-specific bandwidth partitions for each radio communication compatibility type based on a number of the plurality of radio communication compatibility types and a number of the plurality of operators corresponding to each radio communication compatibility type. A primary channel can be assigned within at least one of the radio compatibility type-specific bandwidth partitions to at least one operator of the number of the plurality of operators.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support system information design for systems that support spectral sharing and network entity sharing for multiple mobile network operators (MNOs). For example, a UE may monitor a radio frequency (RF) spectrum for synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) from a network entity and associated with an MNO. The RF spectrum and the network entity may be shared by the MNO and one or more other MNOs. The UE may receive the SSBs via a broadcast channel within the RF spectrum. The SSBs may be shared SSBs that may include dedicated system information associated with the MNO and shared system information associated with multiple MNOs. The UE may communicate via the RF spectrum according to the dedicated system information and the shared system information.

In some aspects, an open radio access network (O-RAN) distributed unit (O-DU) may generate, at an O-DU application that executes on the O-DU, a first message that does not make use of an O-DU accelerator of the O-DU that is in-line with the O-DU application. The O-DU may transmit, from the O-DU application to an O-RAN radio unit (O-RU), the first message via a passthrough of the O-DU accelerator, wherein the first message does not make use of the O-DU accelerator based at least in part on a payload of the first message being transferred unchanged by the O-DU accelerator to the O-RU.
