    Abstract: Techniques are provided which may be implemented using various methods and/or apparatuses in a mobile device to determine signal measurements on a plurality of frequencies and to provide signal measurements for position calculation on a location server or on the mobile device. Techniques are provided which may be implemented using various methods and/or apparatuses on a mobile device to concurrently scan for signals across two or more frequencies while optimizing sending and/or utilizing signal measurements made at higher frequency bands or signal measurements of signals sent from devices at a shorter range.

    Abstract: Disclosed are methods, devices, systems, apparatus, servers, computer-/processor-readable media, and other implementations, including a method, performed at a first processor-based wireless device, that includes transmitting at a first time instance, from the first wireless device to a second wireless device, a wireless message including message content, and dynamically determining an adjustable timeout interval based, at least in part, on one or more network characteristics associated with a network comprising the first and/or second wireless devices. The method further includes transmitting at least one subsequent wireless message including at least some of the message content of the wireless message upon a determination that an acknowledgement message responsive to the wireless message transmitted at the first time instance was not received at the first wireless device within a time period, subsequent to the first time instance, greater or equal to the determined adjustable timeout interval.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides for a user equipment (UE) handling radio link control (RLC) reset in wireless communications. Various techniques are described wherein RLC reset procedures are associated with various triggering conditions and predetermined time periods at RLC. Delays for initiation and execution of the RLC reset procedures are also described. In an aspect, the UE determines that at least one data unit to be received over a first logical channel is yet to be received by the UE and that there is data traffic over a second logical channel with higher priority than the first logical channel. In another aspect, the UE delays initiation of an RLC reset on a condition that the UE determines that at least one data unit is yet to be received over the first logical channel and that there is data traffic over the second logical channel.
