Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive configuration information that indicates a transmission parameter associated with a random access response (RAR) type; transmit a random access message associated with the RAR type; use the transmission parameter to obtain a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) communication that schedules a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communication that includes a RAR in a medium access control protocol data unit of the PDSCH communication; and obtain or refraining from obtaining the PDSCH communication based at least in part on whether the PDCCH communication is successfully obtained using the transmission parameter. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, on a first carrier having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), a scheduling indication via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling a downlink transmission on a second carrier having a second SCS. The UE may process the downlink transmission on the second carrier based at least in part on a delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission and a timing threshold having a basic term and an adjustment term. For example, the basic term may be based at least in part on a minimum delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission, and the adjustment term may be based at least in part on a processing time due to a difference between the first SCS and the second SCS. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure implement techniques that allow a vehicle performing V2X communications to provide more accurate S-RSSI measurements and CBR calculations for use in channel selection and congestion control. Techniques may include measuring a sidelink received signal strength indicator (S-RSSI) for each of a plurality of sub-channels, determining one or more signal impairment adjustment factors based on the S-RSSI for each of the plurality of sub-channels, calculating a channel busy ratio (CBR) for the plurality of sub-channels based on the one or more signal impairment adjustment factors, and initiating communication with at least one of the plurality of sub-channels based on at least the CBR.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for interleaved mapping are described. A transmitting device may identify a set of virtual resource blocks (VRBs) corresponding to at least one code block to be transmitted to a receiving device. The transmitting device may determine that a quantity of VRBs to be transmitted to the receiving device is different than a quantity of entries within a regular interleaving matrix. Thus, the transmitting device may map each of the VRBs to a physical resource block (PRB) according to an irregular interleaving matrix to generate at least one interleaved code block. The transmitting device may transmit the interleaved code block to the receiving device. The receiving device may receive the interleaved code block and identify the PRBs associated with the interleaved code block. The receiving device may map each of the PRBs within the interleaved code block to a VRB according to an irregular deinterleaving matrix.

In some aspects, a user equipment may receive sidelink control information (SCI) associated with a remote vehicle; identify a threat metric associated with the remote vehicle based at least in part on one or more characteristics of the remote vehicle, wherein the one or more characteristics are determined based at least in part on vehicle information received in one or more transport blocks corresponding to prior SCI associated with the remote vehicle and received prior to the SCI; and process the SCI based at least in part on the threat metric.
