    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) may include multiple antenna arrays used to support wireless communications. The antenna arrays may be located at different parts of the UE and may allow the UE to flexibly perform beamforming communications. The antenna arrays maybe configured as antenna sets, and the size of each antenna set may vary based on the configuration of the UE. For example, a UE may include a foldable display having multiple foldable display units, and the communication parameters used for transmission and reception of signals via the antenna arrays may depend on the configuration of the foldable display units. In some aspects, a state of the foldable display units or the arrangement of the antenna arrays relative to one another may be used to configure and perform beamforming communications between the UE and a base station.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a first wireless device and second wireless device may establish communications using a first beam and a second beam. The first wireless device may perform separate radio link monitoring (RLM) procedures to monitor beam quality for each of a transmit beam and receive beam that are used for communications with a second wireless device. The separate RLM procedures may be used at the first wireless device to determine that one of the transmit or receive beams is experiencing a quality degradation or a radio link failure (RLF), and an RLF indication may be provided to the second wireless device.

The UE may determine that a total received signal power in the second slot is associated with the total received signal power in the first slot. The UE may decode one or more transmissions in the second slot based on the receiver having the second gain at the beginning of the slot.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques for multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) in a cluster may coordinate scheduling and communications with a user equipment (UE). Different TRPs may allocate uplink resources for one or more UEs within a coordinated cluster to transmit feedback information. A first TRP may provide a first set of resources that one or more associated UEs may use to transmit acknowledgment (ACK) feedback to indicate successful receipt of a downlink transmission of the first TRP, and one or more other TRPs of the coordinated cluster may provide a second set of resources that the one or more UEs may use to transmit negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback to indicate that a downlink transmission of the first TRP was lost. The second set of resources may include non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) resources.

The neural network weights may be for one or more shared layers of a federated learning neural network. The UEs may train a personalized layer of the neural network using the weights and data at the UEs. The UEs may transmit layer updates to the network entity. The network entity may train the neural network based on the updates. The UEs may send a transmission to the network entity that may be processed according to the neural network at the UEs and the network entity.
