Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and implementing computing devices, for distributing compute operation across connected wired or wireless computing devices. Various embodiments may include establishing an ad hoc communication connection with a second computing device, in which the ad hoc communication connection is part of a network of a plurality of wired or wireless computing devices communicatively connected via a plurality of ad hoc communication connections, receiving context information of the second wired or computing device via the ad hoc communication connection, selecting at least one sensor wired or wireless computing device from the plurality of wired or wireless computing devices, selecting at least one execution wired or wireless computing device from the plurality of wired or wireless computing devices, assigning a data gathering part of a work item to the sensor computing device, and assigning an execution part of the work item to the execution wired or wireless computing device.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for processing audio data. For instance, a process can include detecting a first audio data between two or more in-person participants of a plurality of in-person participants of a group communication session. The first audio data can be identified as private based on one or more cues associated with the first audio data. A second audio data can be identified between the two or more in-person participants. The second audio data can be identified as non-private based on one or more additional cues associated with the second audio data, wherein the one or more additional cues associated with the second audio data are different from the one or more cues associated with the first audio data. The second audio data can be output based on identifying the second audio data as non-private.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for coordinating multi-user experiences. For example, a process can include obtaining a plurality of settings associated with a plurality of multi-user experience participants. The plurality of settings includes one or more arbitrated settings and one or more non-arbitrated settings. The process can include arbitrating, by a settings arbitration engine, the one or more arbitrated settings to generate one or more adjusted settings for each arbitrated setting. The process can include generating, by an experience adaptation engine, an adapted multi-user experience, wherein the adapted multi-user experience is configured to enforce the one or more adjusted settings for each arbitrated setting.

Abstract: A first device includes one or more processors configured to determine, based on one or more wireless signals, a candidate device list identifying one or more devices that are within a communication range of one or more sensing devices. The one or more processors are further configured to, based on a determination to initiate a shared media session with a second device of the candidate device list, receive a media stream including particular media content from a remote media service while the particular media content is being sent from the remote media service to the second device. The one or more processors are further configured to, based on the determination to initiate the shared media session, cause the particular media content to be output, based on synchronization information, contemporaneous with output of the particular media content at the second device.
