Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for dynamic error correction for data transmissions may include determining parameters of a wireless communication link by which a user equipment (UE) receives data that is transmitted from a remote computing device via a wireless communication network and that is used by an application executing in the UE, receiving sensor information from sensors of the UE, predicting a condition of the wireless communication link based on the determined parameters of the wireless communication link and the received sensor information, and selecting a forward error correction (FEC) rate for communications with the remote computing device based on the predicted condition of the wireless communication link.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for managing packet transmissions between the base station and a user equipment (UE) may include analyzing, by a base station, one or more conditions of a wireless link between the base station and the UE in response to receiving Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) packets for transmission to the UE, such as over the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP), and selecting a mode for transmitting the WebRTC packets to the UE based on whether the one or more conditions of the wireless link between the base station and the UE meets a respective condition threshold.
