    摘要: A CMOS D-type flip flop (D-FF) exhibits reduced power consumption by selectively disabling certain charging/discharging operations at specific circuit elements to minimize the capacitance of the circuit's internal nodes using a partial signaling technique. A clock inverter module may be used to provide a partial inverse clock signal that is the complement of a clock signal when a non-clock dependent input to the clock inverter module has a first value and to provide a fixed signal when the non-clock dependent signal has a second value. One or more MOSFETs controlled by the partial inverse clock signal do not charge or discharge when the non-clock dependent signal has the second value.

    摘要: Techniques for generating a human user test for online applications or services may include splitting the visual objects in an image into multiple partial images, and forming one or more alignment positions. At each of the alignment positions, some of the visual objects appear recognizable while some bogus visual objects also appear to prevent robots from recognizing the alignment positions. A user is requested to find the multiple alignment positions to return recognizable visual objects. A system determines that the user is a human user if the recognizable visual objects input by the user match the visual objects in the image.

A message prompting device is also disclosed. The disclosure prompts software features with better pertinence to a user according to behavior features of the user, provide a personalized way of feature notification, avoid disturbing the user, improve the user experience, enhance friendliness, and can provide effective guidance to the user.

    摘要: Phospholipid scramblase 3 (PLS3) is a newly recognized member of a family of proteins responsible for phospholipid translocation between two lipid compartments. A novel isoform of PLS3 is identified and characterized herein. The function of PLS3 in mitochondria was disrupted, yielding an inactive mutant PLS3(F258V). Cells transfected with PLS3(F258V) exhibited reduced proliferative capacity that was unaffected by the presence of Na3N. PLS3(F258V)-expressing cells exhibit abnormal mitochondrial metabolism and structure and were associated with decreased sensitivity to UV- and tBid-induced apoptosis, and diminished translocation of cardiolipin to the outer mitochondrial membrane. Cells transfected with wild-type PLS3 displayed increased sensitivity to apoptosis and enhanced cardiolipin translocation. These studies identify PLS3 as a regulator of mitochondrial structure and respiration, and cardiolipin transport in apoptosis.
