Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink cancellation indication that indicates a set of resources in which to cancel sidelink communications, wherein the set of resources overlaps with at least one of a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH), a gap symbol, or a sidelink synchronization signal block (S-SSB). The UE may perform one or more sidelink cancellation actions associated with the at least one of the PSFCH, the gap symbol, or the S-SSB. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently performing and reporting reference signal received power (RSRP) measurements. In particular, the techniques described herein may allow a user equipment (UE) to efficiently identify reference signals on which to perform RSRP measurements (e.g., based on signaling from a base station), identify when to report RSRP measurements (e.g., aperiodically, periodically, or semi-persistently), and identify a channel on which to report RSRP measurements (e.g., a sidelink channel or an uplink channel). In addition, the techniques described herein may also allow a UE to efficiently identify open loop parameters to use to determine an appropriate transmit power for transmitting to another UE over a sidelink.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring a search space for sidelink communications between one or more sensors/actuators (SAs) and programmable logic controller (PLC) in internet of things (IoT) applications in order to minimize the number of subchannels that a receiver (e.g., PLC or SA) may need to blind decode. More particularly, the search space is configurable based on a hashing function that is based in part on a portion of the resources (e.g., PLC resources) that have been allocated or reserved for sidelink communication within the PLC subnetwork (or PLC group) from the sidelink resource pool available to a plurality of PLCs in a network. By limiting the search space to a subset of resources that are specific to the PLC subnetwork or group, the need for the SA or PLC to perform blind decoding of sidelink control information (SCI) may be further reduced.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit a first sidelink control information (SCI) message associated with a first sidelink transmission from the first UE, the first SCI including a first indication of a first set of resources reserved for retransmissions of the first sidelink transmission at one or more retransmission occasions. The UE may identify a second SCI message associated with the first SCI message, the second SCI message including frequency domain resource allocation (FDRA) field values indicative of a second set of resources reserved for retransmissions of a second sidelink transmission, where the second SCI provides a release of at least some of the reserved resources. Additional aspects of signaling one or more configurations via resource indication fields are described.

Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a base station to indicate use of a mini-slot based resource allocation in sidelink communications between a Tx UE and a Rx UE. Initially, the base station configures control information indicating a sidelink data resource for a mini-slot, and transmits the control information to a Tx UE. After the Tx UE receives the control information, the Tx UE transmits sidelink data in the sidelink data resource to a Rx UE. Similarly, the Rx UE receives the control information from either the Tx UE or the base station, and the Rx UE receives the sidelink data in the sidelink data resource from the Tx UE. Accordingly, the base station may schedule the Tx UE and Rx UE to communicate sidelink data in mini-slots rather than slots, thereby reducing scheduling latency, increasing the number of available resources, and achieving more flexibility in sidelink communications.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium for soft cancellation of sidelink transmissions are provided. An example method may include receiving, from a base station, DCI comprising at least one of: an open loop power control parameter, a maximum transmit power, or a closed loop power control parameter. The open loop power control parameter, the maximum transmit power, or the closed loop power control parameter may be associated with a PSSCH or a PSCCH. The example method may further include reducing a transmit power of a scheduled transmission associated with the PSSCH or the PSCCH to a reduced transmit power if the reduced transmit power is above a threshold or cancel the scheduled transmission if the reduced transmit power is below the threshold. The reduced transmit power may be based on the open loop power control parameter, the maximum transmit power, or the closed loop power control parameter.

Abstract: Flexible under-bump metallization sizes and patterning, and related integrated circuit packages and fabrication methods are disclosed. First under-bump metallizations (UBMs) of a first, larger size and pitch are provided in the die and coupled to corresponding metal interconnects in the package substrate. One or more second UBMs of a second, reduced size UBMs can also be located in the core area of the die. This provides greater flexibility in the design and layout of the die, because different circuits within the die (e.g., I/O related circuits) may only require coupling to smaller size UBMs for performance requirements and thus can be more flexibility located in the die. Also, to further reduce pitch of the second, smaller size UBMs, one or more of the second, smaller size UBMs can be formed as oblong-shaped UBMs, which can still maintain a minimum separation based on metal interconnect pitch limitations in the package substrate.
