In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a trigger indicating that the UE is to perform a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) acquisition process within a GNSS measurement gap, wherein a start time of the GNSS measurement gap is based at least in part on whether hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback is enabled for a channel in which the trigger is received. The UE may perform the GNSS acquisition process within the GNSS measurement gap based at least in part on the trigger. Numerous other aspects are described.

摘要: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE obtains multiple buffer status reporting (BSR) tables and multiple sets of one or more timers. Each BSR table of the multiple BSR tables corresponds to one logic channel group (LCG) of multiple LCGs. The UE further communicates with a network entity based on one BSR table selected from the multiple BSR tables and one set of timers selected from the multiple sets of one or more timers. The method enables the UE to obtain multiple BSR tables and BSR timers and select corresponding BSR tables and timers according to specific characteristics of the traffic.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to uplink buffer management are provided. In some aspects, a user equipment receives a synchronization acknowledgment message destined for a device tethered to the user equipment and transmitted by an application server at a network to which the user equipment is connected. In some aspects, the synchronization acknowledgment message includes an application server receiver window size indicating available buffer space in a receive buffer of the application server. The user equipment can modify the application server receiver window size in the received synchronization acknowledgment message prior to transmitting the received synchronization acknowledgment to the tethered device.

摘要: Aspects are provided which allow a UE to trigger initiation of an SR procedure in response to a decrease in an amount of received data or uplink grants following a measurement gap. The UE receives data from a first base station. The UE performs a measurement of a downlink signal from a second base station based on a measurement configuration. The UE transmits a scheduling request in response to a decrease in at least one of an amount of received downlink data or a number of received grants to transmit uplink data after the measurement is performed. As a result, inefficient data stalls caused by erroneous DRX determinations by a base station may be avoided.
