摘要: Capsules for use in a beverage production machine. One capsule includes a base body having a flange-like rim and containing beverage-forming ingredients therein, the ingredients being sealed in the base body by a foil member attached to the flange-like rim, and at least one flow control porous member arranged between at least a portion of ingredients in the capsule and the foil member. Another capsule includes a first wall member for supporting beverage-forming ingredients, a second perforable wall member attached to the first wall member, and at least one porous layer located between the beverage-forming ingredients in the capsule and the second wall member, with the porous layer forming a multilayer laminate with the perforable non-porous foil member. These flow control porous members provide faster and more consistent flow of the liquid extract through the capsule and significantly reduces the resurgence of non-soluble solids.

摘要: A method is provided for the electronic scanning of the intensity distribution of an optical interference pattern by means of a linear image sensor, wherein the interference pattern is produced by overlapping two temporally partly coherent beams striking at an arbitrarily predefined angle α in relation to one another and is provided with an interference strip having a carrier frequency greater than the scanning frequency, and amplitude modulation that can be varied slowly in relation to the pixel width, wherein at least one optical grating is disposed in the beam path of at least one of two incident beams and the image sensor is disposed in the diffraction image of the grating(s) such that, at the site of the image sensor, the beams interfere, and the beams enclose an angle β at the site of the image sensor, the angle being smaller than α.

摘要: The invention relates to an arrangement for cooling equipment and network cabinets, particularly server cabinets, in which the fans are integrated into a door. The resulting fan door, in the closed position, covers an access area of the rear of the cabinet and longitudinally adjacent to the fan door is arranged in fixed manner an air-to-fluid heat exchanger, whilst covering a residual area of the rear of the cabinet and to which is articulated the fan door. The heat loss given off to a cooling liquid, particularly cold water, in the heat exchanger is removed via a pipe system outside the cabinet installation area and rigid connecting pipes of a gas-tight material can be used for the connection of the heat exchangers of the individual cabinets to the building-side pipe system.

摘要: The device serves the change of the length of the running path of an electromagnetic wave, and specifically of a light beam between the emitter and receiver. It comprises two oppositely lying reflection means between which the beam is reflected, as well as a means for changing the distance of these reflection means. The reflection means are arranged at an angle &bgr; to one another which lies between 0° and 45° so that the incident beam is thrown to and fro several times between the reflection means, until it is finally congruently thrown back.
