摘要： A pouched product configured for insertion into the mouth of a user of that product is provided herein. The pouched product can include an outer water-permeable pouch defining a cavity containing a composition adapted for oral use and having a surface area, wherein the outer water-permeable pouch can include a nonwoven web including a first plurality of continuous filament heat sealable binder fibers oriented substantially parallel to each other in a first direction, a second plurality of continuous filament heat sealable binder fibers oriented substantially parallel to each other in a second direction, wherein the first direction and the second direction are substantially perpendicular to each other, and wherein the first plurality of continuous filament heat sealable binder fibers and the second plurality if continuous filament heat sealable binder fibers are bonded with a heated lamination process.

Smoking articles and other tobacco products including such dehydrated tobacco materials are also provided.

摘要： Smokeless tobacco products suitable for oral consumption are provided. The smokeless tobacco products include a tobacco composition and at least one fibrous structure enclosing at least a portion of the outer surface of the tobacco composition such that the fibrous structure and the tobacco composition form a cohesive structure capable of maintaining cohesion when placed in an oral cavity, wherein the fibrous structure includes one or more of (i) a warp knitted structure; (ii) a plurality of reinforcing fibers attached to the tobacco composition; (iii) a braided sleeve; and (iv) a spacer fabric. A process for preparing a smokeless tobacco product adapted for oral consumption is also provided, the process including the step of enclosing at least a portion of the outer surface of a tobacco composition with a fibrous structure to form a composite structure.

摘要： A package that may be employed to store a tobacco-containing material is provided. The package may include a container and a valve assembly. The container may include a body portion and a cover configured to engage the body portion. The body portion may define an internal space therein. The valve assembly may be configured to affect an atmosphere within the internal space of the container. For example, the valve assembly may remain closed except when releasing pressure from the internal space. Thereby, by way of further example, the valve assembly may vent the container so as to avoid damage thereto, while reducing moisture loss from the tobacco-containing material stored in the internal space.
