Abstract:
An illustrative light fixture includes a cylindrical lighting package housing surrounded peripherally by a cooling housing providing airflow cooling channels. The airflow cooling channels are defined in the space between the circumference of the cylindrical lighting package housing and a rim around the periphery of the light fixture. The cooling housing provides wide and long openings for air to rise vertically from below and through the airflow channels defined in part by cooling fins, and radial exit channels with vertical space for radially outward flow below a ceiling the fixture is mounted on, while also eliminating or minimizing the view through the airflow channels and to the ceiling.
Abstract:
An LED light fixture includes a heat dissipation structure defining a first housing member and a plurality of concentric fin sets. A circuit board is thermally coupled to a side of the first housing member opposite the concentric fin sets, a plurality of light emitters is thermally coupled and mounted to a region of the circuit board overlying a first set of concentric fins, and a driver circuit is coupled and mounted to a region of the circuit board overlying a second set of concentric fins. A reflector spans between the circuit board and a second housing member, and a lens spans between the first and second housing member and provides light transmission therethrough.
Abstract:
An illustrative lighting fixture provides a light housing, a thermally conductive inwardly facing annular surface, one of a selection of light reflectors, and an associated lens cover. Mounting pads defined by the annual surface and the light reflector together receiving a selected number of light emitters and associated heatsinks coupled to selected ones of the mounting pads. Each of the selection of light reflectors includes openings for the light emitters and reflective surfaces matching a number and combination of positions of light emitters on selected ones of the mounting pads.

Abstract:
A luminaire includes a first plurality of lighting elements, a housing, and a first lightguide. The housing includes a body and first and second edge frames coupled with the body. The first and second edge frames are positioned on opposing sides of the body and are separated by a first distance. The first plurality of lighting elements is further positioned on the first edge frame. The first lightguide is positioned along the first edge frame in proximity to the first plurality of lighting elements and is configured to receive light from the first plurality of lighting elements. Further, the first lightguide extends a second distance along a plane toward the second edge frame, with the second distance being less than the first distance.
Abstract:
A modular light fixture includes an elongate light fixture base having a longitudinal axis and a plurality of light fixture modules. Each light fixture module includes a housing having an open face, and a light emitting device positioned inside the housing. The modular light fixture also includes a light emitting device driver configured for driving the light emitting devices. The light fixture modules are independently mounted to the light fixture base and extend perpendicularly from opposing sides of the light fixture base with the open faces facing a common direction to produce an initial light distribution pattern. Each light fixture module has a housing adjustment feature for independently pivoting the light fixture module about a pivot axis parallel to the longitudinal axis to modify the initial light distribution pattern. The modular light fixture includes a planar configuration in which the light fixture module housings are oriented along a common plane.
