Abstract: A light-emitting emblem includes a light-emitting element as a light source, a housing that houses the light-emitting element and includes an opening, and a cover. The cover includes an emblem on a surface thereof and a light-emitting portion on the surface to allow light emitted from the light-emitting element to be extracted therethrough. The cover is attached to the housing so as to cover the opening. Also included is a first rib on the housing and/or a second rib on the cover, the first rib extending from the housing toward the cover, and the second rib extending from the cover toward the housing.

Abstract: A luminaire for providing configurable static lighting or dynamically-adjustable lighting. The luminaire uses an array of focusing elements that act on light provided via a corresponding array of sources or via an edge-lit lightguide. Designs are provided for adjusting the number of distinct beams produced by the luminaire, as well as the angular width, angular profile, and pointing angle of the beams. Designs are also provided for systems utilizing the adjustable luminaires in various applications.

Abstract: A lighting fixture includes a housing, a first light source, a light guide plate, and a second light source. The housing has an inner cavity and a mounting hole, the mounting hole communicates the inner cavity with an external environment of the housing, the light guide plate is installed in the mounting hole. A side of the light guide plate faces the inner cavity, the other side of the light guide plate faces an outside of the housing. The second light source projects second light to the light guide plate, the second light is capable of being projected to the outside of the housing through the light guide plate. The first light source projects first light, and is configured such that the first light is projected to the outside of the housing through the light guide plate, and the housing is a non-light-transmitting housing.

Abstract: A domestic cooling device has a cold chamber delimited by walls, and at least one lighting module fitted into a wall opening of a delimiting wall of the cold chamber. The lighting module includes a light outlet pane, a light source arrangement having at least one light-emitting diode, a reflector body which reflects light in the direction towards the light outlet pane, which light reflection surface is irradiated by each light-emitting diode of the light source arrangement, and a frame part which is produced separately from the reflector body and protrudes from the delimiting wall on the side thereof facing towards the cold chamber, which frame part forms a visible surface which extends all around the light outlet pane and is exposed towards the cold chamber. The frame part is a surface-coated plastics component which is held in place by engaging the underside of the light outlet pane.

The configurations can include a first configuration to block the transmission of light through the film and a second configuration to be transparent to the transmission of light. Abstract: An optical redirection adapter for an electronic device having a camera includes a housing and an optical element. Abstract: A light environment rendering system includes: one lighting apparatus disposed on a part of a structure to form an illumination space; another lighting apparatus disposed on the part of a structure, at a position different from a position at which the one lighting apparatus is located, to form the illumination space; and a system controller which controls an operation of each of the lighting apparatuses. Abstract: An electronics module, such as driver modules for LED-based lighting fixtures and the like, includes a printed circuit board (PCB), a stress mitigation layer, and a potting layer. The PCB has a plurality of vias, which extend through the printed circuit board. A plurality of electronic components may each have a body and a plurality of leads extending from the body and through corresponding ones of the plurality of vias, wherein solder joints electrically and mechanically affix the plurality of leads within the corresponding ones of the plurality of vias. The stress mitigation layer is applied over a top surface of the printed circuit board. The potting layer is applied over the stress mitigation layer and the plurality of electronic components.

Abstract: A system for illuminating an environment with light that simulates natural light includes: a first light source which emits a beam of visible light; a diffused-light generator delimited by an inner surface, which receives the light beam, and an outer surface, the diffused-light generator being at least partially transparent to a long wavelength component of the beam of visible light. The diffused-light generator transmits diffused light from a short wavelength component of the beam of visible light, through the outer surface, the correlated color temperature of the transmitted light being lower than the CCT of the visible diffused light. The lighting system includes a dark box which hosts the first light source and is optically coupled to the environment via the diffused-light generator.
