摘要: Methods and apparatus for providing access to content across a plurality of devices and environments. In one embodiment, a downloadable rights profile is utilized in order for a user device to determine whether to provide content to a subscriber. The user device is first registered to content delivery the network; the device then requests a rights profile indicating the rights of the subscriber associated with the device to access content. The rights profile is transmitted to the device. The rights profile may be configured to be valid only for a pre-determined time, thus enabling a subscriber's rights to be updated (including revoked). Security mechanisms may also be utilized to ensure access to content is limited only to authorized subscribers. In another embodiment, a user-based authentication procedure is utilized, thereby making the rights determination and content provision process completely agnostic to the underlying hardware.

摘要: Certain embodiments provide systems and methods for self-updating procedure duration estimation for patient scheduling. A scheduling system for scheduling procedures in a clinical environment includes historical procedure data including stored duration values for a procedure. The scheduling system also includes a user interface providing scheduling and procedure duration information to a user for scheduling the procedure for a patient. The scheduling system further includes a scheduling engine estimating one or more duration values for the procedure for scheduling the procedure for a patient. The scheduling engine establishes a default duration value for a procedure and updating the default duration value based on the historical procedure duration data. The scheduling engine provides a plurality of procedure durations including the updated default duration value to the user for selection via the user interface. The scheduling engine schedules a procedure using a user selected value for procedure duration.

摘要: Charge pump and discharge circuitry for a non-volatile memory device that splits up the discharge operation into two discharge periods. In a first discharge period, the voltage being discharged (e.g., erase voltage) is discharged through a pair of discharge transistors until the discharging voltage reaches a first voltage level. The path through the pair of discharge transistors is controlled by an intermediate control voltage so that none of the transistors of the pair enter the snapback condition. In the second discharge period, the remaining discharging voltage is fully discharged from the first level through a third discharge transistor.

摘要: A CAM device combines a folded bit line architecture with a standard six transistor DRAM based CAM cell and includes a sensing scheme where the active and reference bit lines being sensed are each from the same memory array of the CAM device. Noise present in one array therefore appears as common mode noise in both the active and reference bit lines, thereby permitting the sensing operation to be performed accurately even in the presence of increased noise.

摘要: A turn signal control system for a vehicle having a turn signal indicator includes a wheel position sensor that senses a position of a wheel of the vehicle. A turn signal control module switches off the turn signal indicator based on input from the sensor. This system eliminates a need for a complex return mechanism for returning a turn signal stalk to a neutral position.

摘要: Methods are provided for suppressing interference in a motor vehicle radio such as an AM radio from the operating frequency or the harmonics of the operating frequency of a source of time varying signal such as a switching power supply in response to tuning the radio to a selected frequency. The method comprises the steps of communicating the selected frequency to the source of time varying signal, comparing the selected frequency to the operating frequency and to the harmonics of that operating frequency, and adjusting the operating frequency if the operating frequency or any of the harmonics of the operating frequency fall within a predetermined interference range of the selected frequency.
