摘要： A system, method and computer-readable medium for adapting command line output message streams in a virtualized command line interface (CLI) environment. In accordance with the method of the present invention, a virtualized CLI command is entered and executed. The virtualized CLI command encapsulates a guest operating system command having an associated standard output message. In response to executing the virtualized CLI command, the standard output message is piped to an output message file. Within the standard output message file, a structured array is used to search the standard output message for matches between strings within the standard output message and one or more specified message strings identified in the structured array. In response to finding a match between the specified message strings and the strings within the standard output message, the specified message string within the standard output message is replaced with a replacement message string.

摘要： A computer implemented method and computer program product for sharing licensed applications between virtual machines. When an event is intercepted which comprises an attempted access of a file stored in a hard disk of a guest operating system, wherein the file type has no association with any application installed on the guest operating system, an application installed on a host operating system capable of opening the file is identified. An association of the file type with an application on the host operating system is established, and the file is copied from the hard disk of the guest operating system to a temporary location on the host operating system. The file is opened and accessed using the associated application on the host operating system. The file is then copied back to the hard disk of the guest operating system.

摘要： An integrated control module is provided for a ventricular assist device. A housing receives a power monitoring/switching circuit, a main receptacle, and a quasi-internal backup receptacle. The main receptacle within the housing receives a main battery. The main receptacle is configured for manual installation and removal of the main battery without requiring any separate tool. The quasi-internal backup receptacle within the housing receives a backup battery having a battery capacity less than the main battery. The backup receptacle includes a locking mechanism that requires use of a separate tool to unlock the locking mechanism for removing the backup battery. The backup battery is installed and removed without disturbing power supplied from a main battery in the main receptacle to the power monitoring/switching circuit.

摘要： A circulatory assist system has a pump with a motor coupled to rotate the pump at a selectable speed. A controller drives the motor at a target speed and collects blood flow measurements during operation of the pump. An impaired flow condition is identified when a plurality of successive blood flow measurements are between an expected minimum flow and a low flow threshold, such that the low flow would necessitate issuing an alert. During the impaired flow condition, it is detected whether an inflow obstruction exists by determining whether a reduction in speed of the pump is correlated with a predetermined increase in the blood flow measurements. If the inflow obstruction is detected, then the speed of the pump is further reduced to further increase the blood flow measurements.

A pump control unit worn by a patient includes a programmable device for adapting a secure aspect of heart pump operation in response to pump operating commands. The pump control unit has a wired interface and a wireless interface. A clinical external unit is adapted to be connected to the wired interface for delivering a pump operating command to the pump control unit. An auxiliary external unit is adapted to be connected to the wireless interface for collecting patient and/or pump system performance-related data from the pump control unit. The wireless interface is unable to consummate a pump operating command.

摘要： A container having an expandable thickness for better insulation. The container has two walls which may be expanded to form an insulating air space therebetween. The expansion may be caused by compressible foam, an expandable strip material, a projection running on an inclined surface arrangement or by a gas generating material. The expansion may be activated by removing a vacuum, pulling a physical strip, by rotating one layer within the other or by crushing microcapsules to release gas. The expanded container provides better insulation for hot foods but allows a smaller thickness for storage.
