Abstract:
Cosmetic products available in the form of frozen cakes obtained by rehydration of a lyophilizate with water or physiological serum, characterized in that the lyophilizate contains extracts of plant substances.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises an assembly including a hollow polyolefin sphere (1) containing a eutectic cooling mixture which is maintained at a temperature of about -20.degree. C. The filled sphere functions to accumulate negative kilocalories and is manipulated by means of an isothermal plastic handle or sleeve in order to apply the sphere to the epidermis. The application of the cold sphere to the epidermis produces vasoconstrictive and vasodilative effects which are beneficial to the maintenance of the epidermal tissues of the skin being massaged. The cryogenic massage can be completed with the application of nutritive substances for the epidermis. The invention can also be used to relieve local aches.
Abstract:
A food supplement comprises isolated animal mesenchymal matter of fetal origin and extracts of animal organs of fetal origin, the mesenchymal matter consisting of a network of loose connective tissue and the food supplement being free of chemical preservatives.
Abstract:
A container made of a substantially dielectric material adapted to contain and preserve a perishable substance, comprising:a substantially elongated tubular portion defining an enclosure adapted to contain a perishable substance, the tubular portion being made from a flexible dielectric material, and defining an opening adapted to release said perishable substance through the opening by squeezing the tubular portion;a first magnet coupled to an interior wall of the tubular portion and extending substantially the length of the tubular position;a second magnet coupled to said interior wall of the tubular portion of a substantially opposite side of the tubular portion relative to the first magnet and facing the first magnetic defining a magnetic field between the first and second magnets; said magnetic field adapted to substantially encompass said perishable substance; anda porous material located between the first and second magnets to prevent contact between the first and second magnets.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a container containing dehydrated cosmetic substances placed in a case and ampoules of physiological serum or some other solution. These substances, stored at ambient temperature, are impregnated with serum before being brought to freezing temperature prior to use. According to FIG. 1 the device is characterized by an isothermic plastic case (1) containing the substance and two ampoules (2) of serum placed separately in a container.
Abstract:
Process for transferring medicine through a patient's skin in which a first pair of electrodes is supported in a first container and the container is filled with the medicine in an electrolytic solution. A patient's foot is immersed in the solution in the first container in contact with the electrodes and a voltage is applied to the electrodes to facilitate the delivery of medicine across the patient's skin. A second pair of electrodes is supported in a second container and the second container is filled with the medicine in an electrolytic solution. Another portion of the patient's skin is exposed to the second pair of electrodes, medicine and electrolyte to receive the medicine. Related apparatus is also disclosed.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a portable cold device for skin massage through the vasodilatation effect that follows the vasoconstrictor effect of cold. A small ball that contains glycerine and pure alcohol, preserved at -20.degree. C., is closed by means of a rubber or plastic teat that has an application device or tip. A neck of the ball has an insulating collarette to make it easy to hold and manipulate.
