    摘要: The present invention provides a flowable composition suitable for use as a controlled release implant. The flowable composition can be administered into the ocular region of a mammal. The composition includes: (a) a biodegradable, biocompatible thermoplastic polymer that is at least substantially insoluble in aqueous medium, water or body fluid; (b) a biological agent, a metabolite thereof, a biological agently acceptable salt thereof, or a prodrug thereof; and (c) a biocompatible organic liquid, at standard temperature and pressure, in which the thermoplastic polymer is soluble. The present invention also provides methods of medical treatment that include administering the flowable composition into the ocular region of a mammal.

    摘要: A class of 2,6-diarylpyridazinones of general structural formula I have been identified that exhibit exhibit immunosuppressant activity with human T-lymphocytes, and are useful as an immunosuppressants. ##STR1## or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or crystal form thereof, wherein:when M is S, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are selected from the following combinations:when R.sup.2 is 4-chloro, then R.sup.1 is 4-OCH.sub.3,2 -CH.sub.3, 4-Cl, 4-CH3,3-Cl, 3-CH3, 2-Cl, 4-H, 4-Br, 3-NO.sub.2 ; andwhen R.sup.2 is H, then R.sup.1 is 4-OCH.sub.3, andwhen M is --SO.sub.2 --, then R.sup.2 is H and R.sup.1 is 4-OCH.sub.3.As an immunosuppressant, these compounds are useful in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, the prevention of rejection of foreign organ transplants and/or related afflictions, diseases and illnesses.

    摘要: The method for on-screen animation includes providing a digital world including image object elements and defining autonomous image entities (AIE). Each AIE may represent a character or an object that is characterized by i) attributes defining the AIE relatively to the image objects elements of the digital world, and ii) behaviours for modifying some of the attributes. Each AIE is associated to animation clips allowing representing the AIE in movement in the digital world. Virtual sensors allow the AIE to gather data information about image object elements or other AIE within the digital world. Decision trees are used for processing the data information resulting in selecting and triggering one of the animation cycle or selecting a new behaviour. A system embodying the above method is also provided. The method and system for on-screen animation of digital entities according to the present invention can be used for creating animation for movies, for video games, and for simulation.
