摘要： A toner includes binder of amorphous polymer material, such as an amorphous polyester material, and a crystalline polymer material, such as a crystalline polyester material, wherein the amorphous polymer material has an acid number that is greater than an acid number of the crystalline polymer material. Further, the toner may have a minimum fusing temperature of from about 75° C. to about 150° C. and a relative humidity sensitivity of from about 0.5 to about 10. A method of making toner particles is also indicated.

摘要： A process for the preparation of toner comprising mixing a colorant dispersion in water, which dispersion is comprised of a colorant and an ionic surfactant with a resin latex; heating the resulting flocculent mixture with stirring at a temperature of from about 25.degree. C. to about 1.degree. C. below the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the latex resin to effect formation of toner sized aggregates; heating the resulting aggregate suspension in the presence of additional anionic surfactant, and which heating is at a temperature of from about 10.degree. C. to about 55.degree. C. above the Tg of the resin; cooling; adding a base component to the resulting slurry; filtering; and thereafter drying said toner.

摘要： Toner particles are provided which may, in embodiments, include a core and a shell. In embodiments, charge control agents may be co-emulsified with a resin utilized to form a shell. The shell may prevent a crystalline resin in the core from migrating to the toner surface. Inclusion of the charge control agent in the shell itself may provide the resulting toner particles with desirable charge characteristics and sensitivity to relative humidity.

摘要： A polyester resin emulsion includes crosslinked polyester resin in an emulsion medium, the crosslinked polyester resin having a degree of crosslinking of from about 0.1 percent to about 100 percent. The emulsion can be formed by solvent flashing a mixture of a polyester resin, an initiator, a solvent, and an emulsion medium, wherein the crosslinked polyester resin has a degree of crosslinking of from about 0.1 percent to about 100 percent.

摘要： Toner compositions include a non cross linked resin; a cross linked resin or gel; a wax; and a colorant. Processes for preparing a toner include mixing a non-cross linked resin and a cross-linked resin or gel in the presence of a wax, a colorant, and a coagulant to provide toner size aggregates; adding additional non-cross linked latex to the formed aggregates thereby providing a shell over the formed aggregates; heating the shell covered aggregates to form toner; and, optionally, isolating the toner.
