摘要： A device and method for cooling chemical smoke for creating a low lying fog effect comprises first and second chambers arranged in heat exchange relationship, the first chamber comprising an open-ended conduit adapted for maintaining a flow of chemical smoke therethrough, the second chamber adapted for receiving liquid CO.sub.2 under pressure and including vent openings for venting gases from the second chamber into the first chamber for maintaining the second chamber at ambient pressure, the liquid CO.sub.2 transforming to dry ice in situ, and a liquid CO.sub.2 supply system for connecting a source of liquid CO.sub.2 under pressure to the second chamber, whereby the chemical smoke flowing through the first chamber is cooled by the dry ice in the second chamber. Thermal sensor means sense the temperature in the second chamber and control a liquid CO.sub.2 flow control valve in the liquid CO.sub.2 supply system.

The apparatus may also include first pluralities and second pluralities of cyan, magenta and yellow color filters, each filter including a variable density color filter operated upon by a motor configured to traverse each filter in and out of the light path. Each variable density color filter of the first pluralities of filters may include a high saturation color pallet. Each variable density color filter of the second pluralities of filters may include a low saturation color pallet. The computer memory may include software to multiplex the traversing of the first and the second pluralities of filters to one or more control channels.

摘要： A device is disclosed that uses a plurality of light sources. The light sources may be light emitting diodes (LEDs). The light sources are arranged and mounted to a deformable flexible substrate. The light sources are arranged and mounted to the substrate as to emit their radiation perpendicular to the substrate. The substrate is flexed in a concave or convex manner by motor, magnetic field or other mechanical means. The light sources may emit their radiation perpendicular to the substrate, or the may diverge or converge their radiation away from the substrate. Perforations in the substrate provide cooling to the light sources by convection or forced air. A threaded holder may be screwed onto threads on a case in order to bend the flexible substrate to change the direction of light from the light sources mounted to the flexible substrate.

摘要： A central controller and a number of image projection lighting devices (“IPLD”), a type of multiparameter light, are interconnected by an enhanced performance communications path that is capable of simultaneously carrying different digital signals on various bidirectional channels, such as various content signals, including continuous video and/or audio, in digital form on respective content transfer channels, a command signal on a control channel, and a control or content signal in digital form on an auxiliary channel. In accordance with commands transmitted from the central controller over the control channel, content signals may be sent from any of the IPLDs to any other of the IPLDs, or from the central controller to any of the IPLDs, or from any of the IPLDs to the central controller. The IPLDs have respective unique device addresses, and the control channel, the auxiliary channel, and the content transfer channels also have respective unique channel addresses.
