摘要： A unique hernia repair stapler is described which allows the forming of staples to attach prosthetics to tissue, or to approximate herniated tissue. The staple is useful in endoscopic operations and may be rotatable or stationary. The stapler has a unique forming and ejecting mechanism; as well, there is the availability of a loading mechanism useful for both cartridges and magazines of staples. An improved staple shape allows for better staple alignment, especially in a multiple load device.

摘要： An endoscopic device including an elongate member having opposite ends, and a clevis attached to one end of the opposite ends. The clevis includes a barrel having at least one slot longitudinally extending completely through the barrel. The device includes a pair of jaws mounted on the clevis for pivotal movement. Each of the jaws has an end opposite the elongate member. The device includes an actuator member operatively connected to the pair of jaws for moving the jaws between a closed position in which the end of the corresponding jaw is positioned adjacent the other jaw and an open position in which an end of the jaw is spaced from the other jaw.

摘要： The instant invention describes an extruder for shaping clay or similarly pliable materials into desired shapes. The extruder comprises an operational section, a cassette, and a die. The operational section comprises a plunger, a means for controlling movement of the plunger, a means for supplying electricity, and a body to provide an exterior housing. The cassette, which is removably attached to the operational section, comprises a cavity for holding extrusion material through which the plunger will pass. The die comprises an aperture used to shape the extrusion material and is able to he attached to the cassette.
