摘要： An electrical connector includes a housing (2). A floor (20) is defined in a middle of the housing and a plurality of side walls (22) is defined therearound. The side walls and the floor cooperatively define a substantially rectangular cavity (24) therebetween. A plurality of passageways (26) is defined in the floor for receiving a corresponding number of electrical contacts (3) therein. Each contact includes an arm (30) extending beyond the floor for contacting with corresponding contacting pad of the LGP (4). All the arms extend in a plurality of rows, parallel to one diagonal of the floor, and the arms in a same row are arranged side by side. Each passage includes an upper receiving portion extending into an adjacent passage in the same line, therefore, the passages in the same line are stringed, and a continuous support member is formed between two rows of stringed passages.

摘要： A socket connector (20) includes an insulative housing (21) and a plurality of terminals (22) received in the housing. The housing includes a base (210) mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB) and a frame (211) surrounding the base, the base and the frame being made of different materials. A pair of bolts (23) is provided for assembling the base and the frame. The base forms a pair of aligning posts (2101, 2102) and a pair of first whorl holes (2103). The frame defines a pair of aligning holes (2112, 2113) and a pair of second whorl holes (2114). During the assembling course, the two aligning posts are respectively placed into the aligning holes, and the bolts are assembled together with the base and the frame via the two whorl holes.

The base forms a pair of receiving elements (141) on front and end sides respectively. Each receiving element includes a body portion (142), a pair of spaced top portion (143) each having slits (144) extending therethrough and an aperture (145) extending therethrough. A sensor is received in the aperture to provide signals to a controller during being operated at high temperature. The controller can reliably control the temperature of the whole assembly in light of the signals from the sensor, thereby avoiding damage of the IC by exorbitant temperature.
